SENIOR MINISTRY

The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a formation process for those seeking to become Catholic and for those Catholics wishing to complete their Sacraments of Initiation (Confirmation and

First Eucharist). The Most Blessed Sacrament RCIA begins a new formation year in October. Join with others who are interested in learning about Catholic Christianity as we explore who we are, what we believe, how we pray, and how we live our lives as a community of believers. If you are interested in learning more about RCIA at Most Blessed Sacrament, contact Father John Job at 201-891-4200 x 280.

Summer Prayer Creator of all, thank You for summer! Thank You for the warmth of the sun and the

increased daylight. Thank You for the beauty I see all around me and for the opportunity to be outside and enjoy Your creation. Thank You for the increased time I have to be with

my friends and family, and for the more casual pace of the summer season. Draw me closer to You this summer. Teach me how I

can pray no matter where I am or what I am doing. Warm my soul with the

awareness of Your presence, and light my path with Your Word and Counsel. As I enjoy Your creation, create in me a pure heart and a

hunger and a thirst for You. Amen.

Junior High Notes THANK YOU! Thank you to all the volunteers who have so generously offered their time to help in the Junior High

Religious Education Program! Whether you are a teacher or aide, I couldn’t do it without you!

However, I still would like two more aides for the 7th grade classrooms; and I can also use substitutes for the classes, in the case someone cannot make it one afternoon. If you would be willing to be an aide, or put your name on the “Sub” list, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it! I like to be prepared!

Thank you all once again, and I look for-ward to our classes beginning in September!
