Sri Ramakrishna Ramakrishna Paramhansa is an

enlightened master from 18th century, born in India.

Sri Ramakrishna had practiced each religion for a time – Hinduism, Islam,

Christianity. Furthermore, He also followed the paths

of the Saktas, Vaishnavas, and Vedantists.

In the end, He realized that there is only one God and

all these paths are different ways to attain to the same god.

Living in Kaliyuga

Even those engaged in worldly activities, such as office work or business, should hold to the truth. Truthfulness alone is the spiritual discipline in the Kaliyuga

Leave the I and Reach to GOD

The feeling of ego has covered the Truth. Narendra once said, 'As the "I" of man recedes, the "I" of God approaches.' Kedar says, 'The more clay there is in the jar, the less water it holds.

Think of GOD

A man cannot see God unless he gives his whole mind to Him.

Satisfy God and everyone will be satisfied. 'If He is pleased the world is pleased.

Path of Truth Liberates from Suffering

It is said that truthfulness alone constitutes the spiritual discipline of the Kaliyuga. If a man clings tenaciously to truth he ultimately realizes God. Without this regard for truth, one gradually loses everything. If by chance I say that I will go to the pine-grove, I must go there even if there is no further need of it, lest I lose my attachment to truth.

Recitation of the Name of the GOD

liberates … If a man repeats the

name of God, his body, mind, and everything become pure. Why should one talk only about sin and hell, and such things? Say but once, 'O Lord, I have undoubtedly done wicked things, but I won't repeat them.' And have faith in His name."

Practice to Realise GOD

Even if one lives in the world, one must go into solitude now and then. It will be of great help to a man if he goes away from his family, lives alone, and weeps for God even for three days. Even if he thinks of God for one day in solitude, when he has the leisure, that too will do him good. People shed a whole jug of tears for wife and children. But who cries for the Lord? Now and then one must go into solitude and practise spiritual discipline to realize God.

Turn to GODBecause of the screen of Maya (illusion) that shuts off God from human view, one cannot see Him playing in one's heart. After installing the Deity on the lotus of your heart, you must keep the lamp of remembering God ever burning. While engaged in the affairs of the world, you should constantly turn your gaze inwards and see whether the lamp is burning or not.

Truth Alone Make you

Realize GOD Many are the names of

God and infinite the forms through which He may be approached.

Unless one always speaks the truth, one cannot find God Who is the soul of truth. One must be very particular about telling the truth. Through truth one can realize God.

GOD is the Infinity

To work without attachment is to work without the expectation of reward or fear of any punishment in this world or the next. Work so done is a means to the end, and God is the end.

Bhagavad Gita is…

What is the significance of the Gita? It is what you find by repeating the word ten times. It is then reversed into 'tagi', which means a person who has renounced everything for God. And the lesson of. the Gita is: 'O man, renounce everything and seek God alone.' Whether a man is a monk or a householder, he has to shake off all attachment from his mind.

Liberate from EGO

Mere reading of the scriptures is not enough. A person cannot understand the true significance of the scriptures if he is attached to the world.Ignorance lasts as long as one has ego. There can be no liberation so long as the ego remains.

Page 14: Sri Ramakrishna"s Message

Chanting the Name of GOD liberates … Bhakti is the

only essential thing. One obtains love of God by constantly chanting His name and singing His glories.

Realize GOD He is Every ware

What is knowledge and what is ignorance? A man is ignorant so long as he feels that God is far away. He has knowledge when he knows that God is here and everywhere.

We are only Servants of

GOD One cannot completely get rid of the six passions: lust, anger, greed, and the like. Therefore one should

direct them to God. If you must have desire and greed, then you should desire love of God and be greedy to attain Him. If you must be conceited and egotistic, then

feel conceited and egotistic thinking that you are the servant of

God, the child of God.
