Are you a child of God?

God’s Word says that if you repent (are sorry for and turn from your sin) and trust in Jesus’ death for you, you can become

a child of God! Do you understand that you are a sinner? God says, “Do not lie.” Have you ever told a lie? God says, “Honor your parents.”

Have you ever disobeyed your parents? Because you are a sinner, you deserve to be separated from God forever. Do you admit that you have

disobeyed God’s commands? Are you sorry for disobeying God?

• “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” ROMANS 3:23

• Do you believe that Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the Cross, and rose again? And that He was the perfect sacrifice (punishment) for your sin?

• “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” ROMANS 10:9

• You can pray (talk) to God and tell Him you are sorry for your sin. Tell Him you believe Jesus was punished for your sin and you want to love and obey Him. Would you like to do this now?

• “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” JOHN 1:12

• When you receive Jesus, you will still be a child of your parents, but you will also be part of God’s family!

• “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!” 1 JOHN 3:1
