W hat I started out as a Student Ministry class last semester became quickly a passion of mine. When I asked the Lordwhich ministry class to take, I was surprised He didnot let me pick arts or any ofthe other classes I wouldhave loved to choose. Soon enough, I was in- volved in a children's m inis- try called "Dallas Metro Kids". I c ontinue volunteer- ing there this semester, simply because it has be- come more than a classroom experience to me. Relation- ships with the children have flourished for all the CFNI volunteers in our team. We are trying to sow the Love of Christ into their hearts and slowly I can recognize fruits. However, on our first time out this semester, we had several problems that almost stopped us from getting out to the projects. The biggest problem was that the truck (our mobile Church) would not move. After lots ofprayer and a leap of faith we made it! Up to t his point the truck still runs and did not needany repair! We experience many such miracles, such as the healing ofone kid during the Bible lesson. The biggest miracle however is when they accept Jesus into their heart… That should be our desire more than anything else. Please pray for the Dallas Metro Kids ministry. They are doing a good labor for the Lord and in need of more vol- unteers!
