What a joy it was to host 62 leaders from 32 churches in our Awana Seed Planters trainings this past month. These trainings were held in Charikot and Burtibang. The goal of the event was to train, equip, and provide materials for the leaders of different churches who are involved in leading children towards God's kingdom. Thank you for your constant prayer, support and help. Here are the words shared from the participated leaders:

“I studied in a Bible College and attended other trainings but did not know much about the children fellowship and the value of the children in our society in God’s sight. But I have learned many things from this training. Now, I have a tool and I am encouraged to start Awana club so that I will be able to disciple the next generation for Christ.”

-Bimala B.K (Awana leader), Believers Church, Burtibang “I didn't have any idea even though I was teaching children in the church. This training has given me more conviction to work with children. I have learned a lot of ideas and methods of bringing many people to Christ. I learned that we are responsible to disciple the next generation. I am really excited to put into practice as soon I get back to my church. Please pray for me.” -Sandesh Shrestha (Nepal susamachar church, Ramechhap)

Through the Awana ministry and that of TWR Nepal the radio pro-gram Balbatika is allowing children and adults to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior. The program is so rich in the truth of the gospel it is captivating listeners.

“My name is Rohan Tamang studying in grade 4. I am regular listener of the radio program “Balbatika”. I am from Hindu family. My parents work at carpet factory. I used to think that I am not able to do anything because my left hand is broken. So all I think is that I am useless and I am not like other child. But one day one my friend

invited me to go to a Church and to listen to radio program “Balbatika”. Now I know that I am so valuable in the sight of God. My life has been changed. I also attend the after school tuition class at my church.”

On October 8, we held a Pastor's conference in Bhojpur, an eastern region of Nepal where 20 leaders represented 14 churches. The par-ticipants left eager and interested in having Awana in their church. Pas-tors and leaders all expressed that they were praying for a program like Awana to use I their churches. “I am President of the Bhojpur Christian Society. I am very much blessed after attending this meeting. This conference has opened my eyes to see kids as our future leaders of the Church and nation.” Ps. Hari Prasad Rai, Dingla Baptist Church

On October 7-8 and 29, we conducted an Awana Advance Training in Bardiya and Sarlahi. In this exciting training there were 81 Awana lead-ers representing 57 different churches. We praise God for 190 salva-tion decision within a year.

“During the time of training, I prayed to the God for His calling. As I was praying, God showed me a vi-sion through my dream. In my dream, God told me that I must serve Him. I am very much happy and blessed that God choose an unworthy person like me to serve him.”

-Sandesh Nepali (Awana leader),Prem Church, Bardiya

"One of the students named Andrew was naughty in our Awana club, but when I practice the system we learned in Awana training, his be-havior changed. This is because the ideas we learned in Awana are easy to teach to the children and could feel the lives changing through Awana. It feels good when we see children doing creative works in or-der to obtain marks. We have so many non-Christian children in our club; please pray for them as well." -Prabha magar (Awana leader), Rajghat Bible church, Sarlahi

“God Chose an Unworthy Person Like me” One Year Celebration In Bara

“I get to learn more things when I teach children about God each time. Awana Club Nepal equipped me a lot, which cannot be expressed all at once. When I started Awana Club, many non-Christian children also came. I feel happy that the club is going on nicely and children are also being saved.” -Jeevan Shrestha, Prasasta Jeevan Church, Simara

“I really thank God for this opportunity to learn so many ideas that we have got in ad-vance training. In previous time also we were really blessed though Awana training. Awana teaching style, games and different methods of discipline is what made children increase in our club. Really it is interesting to teach the children in the way we learned to teach them.”

-Rebika Manandhar (Awana leader), Milan church, Sarlahi
