The Breyer Bulletin-Serving the Master in Tenjo, Colombia-
Flexabilidad = FlexibilityWhen ministry is growing the enemy gets
moving said a veteran missionary. Weve been
experiencing this truth on many different levels in the
last few months. In January our American neighbor
started making problems for us and we were unable to
live in peace in the housing complex we shared with
him. After not being able to appease him nor find any
other housing nearby we decided to move out to camp.
We have been living in one of the cabins now for just
over a month. Adequate housing for rent in the area isvery difficult to come by. We think we have found a new
house to rent and will hopefully be moving yet again in a
week or two.
We have each had a turn dealing with
discouragement and frustration. We have seen God work
and his timing has been impeccable as people send notes
or reach out and encourage us. Ive said more than once
lately that when my ministry cup feels totally empty God
seems to be filling it up just in time.
One recent blessing was having a work team from
Appalachian Bible College come down. Among the team
were some camping professionals that helped not just
with work projects but with the strategy of the camp and
helped tweak some of the functions.
Please keep us in your prayers. We have seen
the ministry of the church, the camp, and especially
the youth group make great strides, which can only
mean one thing; the enemy is going to keep working
hard as well.

Adventure Day 2014Having seen the need to offer new activities that are a little more
extreme we decided to try something new. In January we
hosted an adventure Day at the camp. We had 4 stations with
different adventure elements. The requirement to come was that
the church youth had to bring a visitor. Expecting 100-120 we had
to shift it into high gear when 160 showed up! Half way through
we stopped and had an evangelistic challenge at each station. Igot to teach one group about the impossibility of living without
sin and the consequences it brings. I had two youth accept Christ
in my station and heard of 9 more that made professions in the
other stations.
Family lifeAs Nate mentioned above, our family is in yet another funky transition with
housing. At first I was very angry and asked God why He keeps us in these
times of limbo. Of course I knew the answer: He wants me dependent on
Him while He molds me into Christs image. We counted and realized from
the time we started raising support full-time weve not been able to stay ina house for more than 10 months.
Please Pray For our next move to be our last move for our family before furlough.
The youth group to keep growing and the teens to keep maturing
spiritually.
Oscar, Jose, and Kata, as we disciple them weekly to grow into Godly
leaders.
The upstairs chapel to be finished before camps start back up in a few
months.
Our boys to continue knowing God and our family to be a lighthouse in
the community.
Keep in touch.
We would love to hear from you. Please take just a fewminutes and let us know how you are doing and how we cando our part in praying for you!

The Breyers
On the fun side, the boys LOVE living
out at camp. They are able to walk out
the front door and go play! They ate up
al the attention they could get while
the ABC group was here. The group was
such an encouragement to our whole
family! !
