News about me Staff in DTS My last months (January-July) were ver y busy with the Discipleship Training School here in Y outh With A Mission Medias, Romania. In the afternoons I taught the students how to use mass media for God and for Evangelism. They learned about photography , photo collages and presentations, Internet ministry, Christian video production, radio and about journalism. They made a lot of exercises, some professionals in Christian media where invited and now they can use many of these tools in ministry. After the 3 months of theory the students and school staff organized outreaches to India, Kenya, Serbia, Moldavia, Ukraine and two places in Romania. It was a blessed time and many of the students were deeply transformed and healed by God. At the end of July the 8 students from 3 countries graduated in a nice ceremony with the  participation of their parents, pastors and friends. We presented the DTS time in a short video made from the pictures and videos made by them in outreaches and theoretical phase. Again to India In May I led an outreach team to India, the country which is a second home for me. I went there for 5-6 times but the other 6 DTS students and staff went for the first time in this mission field. W e tried to be a blessing, despite the hottest weather of the year and the cultural differences. W e worked in a orphanage teaching children Bible lessons, songs, games and short Christian dramas. Our team  participated to evangelism events for children in Patna's slums, we helped to paint the office of YW AM Patna, and we taught other youth and local workers how to use choreography and mass media in their ministry. Our last week we worked in Calcutta in the houses of Missionaries of Charit y . It was a great surprise when Mongu, an Indian women from Hindu background with who I shared the Good News many years ago, decided to be baptized and did this in our time there. Her testimony was strong, she is decided to fallow Jesus and not other gods. God spoke to me in all this time about the importance of long therm investment in people and in a place. Using media tools for Him In all these months I continued to use the mass media tools for evangelism and to promote and ins pire people to do mission. I have worked on my 4 web pages in Romanian (www.romedia.ning.com , www.romediamission.ning.com , www.freewebs.com/danaindia/  , www.galatievanghelic.wordpress.com/ ) adding evangelism resources, discussions, videos, pictures, games and writings for ministr y . More than 20 000 people visited and accessed them since January . I also collaborated with other Christian on-line publications writing articles and moderating discussions. As a part of my job here in YW AM, I led the Communication department, updated my organization's web pages and made other promotional materials. With a borrowed video camera and a donated computer, I also started to apply what I learned at the Vid eo Production School in South Africa. I did a few short clips to promote our organization, some documentaries about missions and missionaries and I also finished the first episode of the Creation movie for children made with stop motion technique. News about me

Staff in DTSMy last months (January-July) were very busy with the Discipleship Training School here in Youth

With A Mission Medias, Romania. In the afternoons I taught the students how to use mass media for

God and for Evangelism. They learned about photography, photo collages and presentations,Internet ministry, Christian video production, radio and about journalism. They made a lot of

exercises, some professionals in Christian media where invited and now they can use many of these

tools in ministry.

After the 3 months of theory the students and school staff organized outreaches to India, Kenya,

Serbia, Moldavia, Ukraine and two places in Romania. It was a blessed time and many of the

students were deeply transformed and healed by God.

At the end of July the 8 students from 3 countries graduated in a nice ceremony with the

participation of their parents, pastors and friends. We presented the DTS time in a short video made

from the pictures and videos made by them in outreaches and theoretical phase.

Again to IndiaIn May I led an outreach team to India, the country which is a

second home for me. I went there for 5-6 times but the other 6

DTS students and staff went for the first time in this mission

field. We tried to be a blessing, despite the hottest weather of

the year and the cultural differences.

We worked in a orphanage teaching children Bible lessons,

songs, games and short Christian dramas. Our team

participated to evangelism events for children in Patna's

slums, we helped to paint the office of YWAM Patna, and we

taught other youth and local workers how to use choreography and mass media in their ministry. Our last week we worked in Calcutta in the houses of Missionaries of Charity.

It was a great surprise when Mongu, an Indian women from Hindu background with who I shared

the Good News many years ago, decided to be baptized and did this in our time there. Her

testimony was strong, she is decided to fallow Jesus and not other gods. God spoke to me in all this

time about the importance of long therm investment in people and in a place.

Using media tools for HimIn all these months I continued to use the mass media

tools for evangelism and to promote and inspire people

to do mission. I have worked on my 4 web pages in

Romanian (www.romedia.ning.com ,

www.romediamission.ning.com ,

www.freewebs.com/danaindia/  ,

www.galatievanghelic.wordpress.com/ ) adding

evangelism resources, discussions, videos, pictures,

games and writings for ministry. More than 20 000 people

visited and accessed them since January. I also

collaborated with other Christian on-line publications writing articles and moderating discussions.

As a part of my job here in YWAM, I led the Communication department, updated my

organization's web pages and made other promotional materials.

With a borrowed video camera and a donated computer, I also started to apply what I learned at theVideo Production School in South Africa. I did a few short clips to promote our organization, some

documentaries about missions and missionaries and I also finished the first episode of the Creation

movie for children made with stop motion technique. You can see my work on my youtube page

My next steps and prayer needs:In the beginning of September I want to go to India for a 4-6 months mission (depends on visa

length); I will work with YWAM Patna there for discipling local Christian workers and also I will

be involved in the work with children and evangelism. Pray for:

• a 6 month visa (usually in Romania the Indian Embassy give maximum of 3 months tourist

visa; for longtime I'd need to be a student there or to go with a business)

• the money that I still need for my trip and expenses there (1200 Euro)

for a quick adaptation there in the new mission base, the new team•  physical protection (I will arrive there in monsoon time followed by their cold season which

are the time of malaria, TB and other diseases; I also have some stomach problems and I

can't eat all the kind of food)

• spiritual protection – I will work in North India in a state where the Christians are few and

the Hinduism and Buddhism are very powerful. It is the Ganges River area where the cult of

death is predominant and the shamans are blinding people with traditions. In some states of

India the Christians are attacked and oppressed; pray for protection

• to be a blessing there and a light between Indians and the Christian workers

In His service,
