THIS is a special day, not just because we are worshipping God this Lord’s Day, but also because we are giving special honor to fathers in celebration of

“Father’s Day.” As I always say, a father plays a very important role as the leader in every family. Though many times unnoticed and unrecognized, fathers should still be faithful on that task God has given them. I thank God for the fathers who have conviction in leading their families to love and serve God through the local church.

To my fellow fathers, let us have a decision like Joshua had, and be resolved to say, “…as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” It may be tiring at times; and though the world may have a different perspective about fatherhood, let us not vacate our God-entrusted position and responsibility. Let us realize that God the Father has given us the best example that we should follow. He is a loving Father Who corrects what is wrong, and always does what is right. Happy Father’s day!

Brothers and sisters, let us allow God through the songs, fellowship and His Word to work in our spiritual lives and desire more to be close to Him. This is necessary as we face again challenges in our everyday life. Many of you would be facing challenges in school, work and even family. I pray that our Christian testimony would always be evident and God would be most glorified.

I. Church doctrine must be sustained for it is Christ’s doctrine.

A. Church doctrine is not anybody’s doctrine but Christ’s.

B. Christ’s written law is already contained in the pages of the word of God.

C. The Church acts as an executive, and never as a legislative body. II. Church doctrine must be sustained for Christ commanded it to be so.

Sustaining Church Doctrine Part 1A. The Commander in Chief of the

Baptist Church commanded that His doctrine be preserved.

B. The Commander in Chief of the Baptist Church commanded that His doctrine be promoted and propagated. III. Church doctrine must be sustained for in doing so, Christ’s glory will be manifested.

A. The earth should be filled with Christ’s doctrine and not with the enemies’ lies.

B. The earth should be giving glory to the rightful God-Creator-King and not to the devil.

They are men who honor God’s name along His deity Aware are they of His presence as well as His sovereignty; They esteem the Lord always in His holiness’ majesty And bring their homes to church-worship’s sanctity. Praise God for fathers with Christ-anchored integrity.

They are men who listen to God’s Word earnestly Attentive are they toward His truths for application constantly; They follow the Lord always with their testimony faithfully And uphold their homes upon scriptural standards strongly. PraiseGodforfatherswithinfluencethat’sholy!

They are men who beg for God’s power in their weakness Able are they as they depend on His graciousness; They seek the Lord always in His favor’s goodness And inspire their homes to draw near to His Highness. Praise God for fathers with prayer-life full of blessedness!

They are men who walk under God’s light Active are they while they shine in His radiance-might; TheycometotheLordalwaysintemptation-fight Andprotecttheirhomesfromflesh,worldandSatan’sblight. Praise God for fathers with conviction to do what’s right! They are men who trust God’s heart in every circumstance AmenablearetheytoHiswill,submittingtheirresistance; TheyabideintheLordalways,notlingeringfromadistance And manage their homes by Bible-wisdom’s assistance. Praise God for fathers with legacy of heavenly inheritance!

They are men who strive to obey God’s commandments AlertaretheyinfulfillingHisrequirements They serve the Lord in their work-placements And usher their homes to ministry involvements. Praise God for fathers with eternal accomplishments!

All glory belongs to God for what He is greatly doing in Area 23 which covers Dela Paz, San Josep, Sto. Domingo, Alunos, Canlalay, St. Francis 1, Baryo Matamis, Almazora. Under Dr. Ed’s supervision, I am most blessed, privileged and challenged by his heavenly vision. To be under the direct influence of our Pastor is one of the greatest blessings we treasure in our area.

By God’s grace, Area 23 has an average attendance of 100-120 individuals weekly. Majority of the members are being transported by 4 jeepneys every Sunday from which 2 of those have been fruits of our 2010 Church Anniversary and the recent DVBS.

We praise God for the newly established extension classes for young people every Saturday in Dela Paz and Canlalay with average attendance of 30 and 20, respectively. With regard to the main thing, we are blessed to have 10 faithful and active soul winners. God has also blessed us with 2 Bible Study Centers located in Dela Paz and Canlalay which are owned by faithful church members who are very much willing to be used mightily for the ministry.

Indeed, God has been great within us. He has always been faithful in His promises and changes not despite the circumstances in our lives. As the new area leader, I praise God for the challenges that always turn to be blessings in the end. I thank God for His love that is making us able to love His work as well. This likewise reminds me that God always makes us able to accomplish anything in His work. Meditating on His greatness in my life, with all my heart I say, “I’m too encouraged to be discouraged.”

nalibing at nabuhay namagmuli. Roma 10:9-104. Sa pamamagitan ng panalangin, tanggapin mo si Hesus sa

iyong puso bilang iyong Tagapagligtas. Roma 10:13

MANALANGIN KA NG GANITOPanginoon, ako po ay isang makasalanan at nangangailangan ng kapatawaran. Nanampalataya po ako na nadanak ang dugo ni Hesus at Siya ay namatay sa krus para sa akin. Tinatalikuran ko na po ang aking mga kasalanan. Tinatanggap ko po si Kristo Hesus sa aking puso bilang aking Tagapagligtas. Amen.

Kung tinanggap mo si Hesus bilang iyong Tagapagligtas, ito na ang simula ng iyong bagong buhay kay Kristo (Roma 8:1). Ngayon:

1. Basahin mo ang iyong Biblia araw-araw upang makilala pa ng lubusan si Kristo Hesus.

2. Makipag-usap ka sa Diyos sa panalangin araw-araw. 3. Manambahan ka sa isang simbahan na pinapangaral si Kristo at

ang Biblia ang tanging pamantayan.4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
