Hace días que busco una frase cor-pórea, de esas de madera, donde se hable del amor por los viajes, para colocar en la biblioteca de casa. Así

como allí conviven fotos, objetos y sueños encima de los estantes, lo que

quiero con el cartel es mostrar que todo (todo) lo que allí se encuentra, ha llegado a mi

vida gracias a viajar. Quizás es una tentativa de incentivar a los que prefieren la calma hogare-ña a salir de la zona de confort y encarar algún camino no conocido, llegar a una ciudad donde se sientan extraños, explorar un mapa con ojos cerrados y dejar que el azar decida el próximo destino. Sacudir la existencia, digamos. O, por qué no, vivir esas experiencias no tan deseadas en el plan idílico previo, pero que son parte virtualmente intrínseca de cualquier trip: perder un vuelo, rastrear valijas en algún aeropuerto, pinchar un neumático en la ruta, hacer noche en algún hotel pueblerino, elegir el camino más difícil, hacer más de 50 km y que algún baquiano te diga: “¿Por acá? No… por acá no es…”La cuestión pasa por amar el viaje, con sus virtudes y defectos. Planificarlo en la medida de las posibilidades. Aprovechar cada minuto. ¿O, al fin y al cabo, cuando estamos trabajando soñamos con tener vacaciones? Viajar es cre-cer. Es aprender. Es probar. Es emocionarse. Es conocer. La decisión está en cada uno. ¿Por qué viajar? Creo que sobran motivos.S

I have been looking for days for a corporeal phrase, of solid wood, that speaks of love for travel, to put in the family library. Just as there are photos, objects, and dreams on the shelves, what I want with the sign is to show that everything (everything) that is there, has come to my life thanks to travel.Maybe it is an attempt at motivating those that prefer the quiet of home to leave their comfort zone and take an unknown road, go to a city where they feel like strangers, explore a map with eyes closed and let chance decide the next destination. Nope... not here...'The issue is love of travel, with its virtues and defects. Planning according to your possibilities (economic, personal, available time). Take advantage of each minute. Is it not true that when we are working, with not a moment of rest in sight, the only thing we think of is vacations? Traveling is growing. Learning. Trying things out. Having emotions. Getting to know things. It is up to each person. Why travel? I believe there are lots of reasons.S

Esta sucesión de paisajes altivos del Periodo triásico, valorados por la uNESCO como Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 2000, se extiende por 215 mil ha. El acceso de visi-tantes se ubica sobre la Ruta Nacional 76, en el km 178. desde allí parten las excursiones al famoso Cañón, así como también trekking guiados. Villa unión es la cabecera para el alojamiento, a sólo 59 km del área protegida.

CAViAHuE.– Hay lugares que nacie-ron con un encanto especial clásico de los cuentos nórdicos, donde la nieve se ve más blanca y pura. Como jugueteando con el viento cae como sin querer caer y decora las ramas de las araucarias que forman pequeños bosques distribuidos a lo largo de la montaña, dejando grandes espacios para que los cañadones, ríos y valles se luzcan de igual manera. Por si esa imagen ya no fuera lo suficien-temente belleza, en plena cordillera de los Andes, a 1600 metros de altura, el pueblo neuquino de Caviahue descansa al pie de la ladera de un volcán humeante que parece dominar todo el entorno, y se extiende hacia un lago que cuando se convierte en espejo refleja toda la majes-tuosidad de su entorno. La llegada del invierno viene acompaña-da de una nieve ideal para los amantes de los deportes de invierno como el esquí y el ya más que popular snowboard con cada vez más fanáticos que aman surfear la nieve. El centro de esquí tiene un espíritu fami-liar donde los que se inician encuentran pistas dóciles y divertidas de recorrer, y los más extremos tienen la posibilidad de internarse en laderas vírgenes de nieve en polvo. Para estos últimos casos en busca de adrenalina, camino a la cima se encuentra una planicie ideal para iniciar-se en la práctica del snowkite. inmersos en una postal digna de la fantasía, estar colgado de este barrilete gigante y surcar la nieve con una tabla o con esquíes em-pujado por los caprichos del viento es la nueva propuesta para los que ya dominan el deporte en el agua. Otra opción un poco más arriba es una la-guna congelada que permite deslizarse y alcanzar velocidades que erizan la piel en pleno invierno. Cuando las condiciones son favorables, la monotonía del blanco se llena de velas de colores que cortan el cielo. Las tablas literalmente despegan del suelo y, por un momento, los depor-

tistas se encuentran volando mientras observan todo el paisaje desde un lugar privilegiado. Para los que prefieren la tierra firme, des-de la base del cerro se puede emprender un recorrido en motos de nieve, pasando por bosques de araucarias, bordeando grandes paredones que se abren paso entre la nieve y permiten arribar a una cascada congelada donde pareciera que el frío detuvo hasta el tiempo. En todos los casos y desde todos los án-gulos, el volcán Caviahue domina el cua-dro. Su cráter humea incansablemente. En algunos de sus filos, las laderas dejan escapar ese curioso vapor. La actividad volcánica es responsable de que en sus alrededores se pueda disfrutar también de una de las fuentes de aguas termales más importantes del mundo, ya sea para tratamientos especiales o simplemente para relajarse. El pueblo es pintoresco y a poco de llegar uno siente como si hubiera esta-do ahí desde siempre. Sus pobladores lo llaman “Pueblo Nieve”, porque en invierno, las casas, sus calles y los alre-dedores se visten completamente de blanco. La manera más rústica (y por qué no romántica) de dar el paseo es en un trineo tirado por perros. Los recorridos atraviesan pequeños arroyos y costean el lago rodeado de un paisaje de cerros y montañas. Abandonando el trineo se puede caminar hundiéndose en la nieve para llegar a estar frente a una inmensa cascada que decora el paisaje. Al pasar por debajo de los araucarias, que al ser agitadas por el viento producen breves neviscas, las mejillas se refrescan con los copos de nieve. El lugar seduce en cada rincón: algunos sienten este privilegio en la contemplación; otros, además de observar, admiten que el lugar merece ser vividos intensamente pues su nieve es inmejorable para disfrutar de todas las actividades invernales de manera in-cansable, en todos sus niveles.S

uSHuAiA.– No hay expertos ni principiantes. No hay avezados ni extremos. Hay familias, gente que pisa la nieve por primera vez, también deportistas con muchos inviernos en su haber. El frío más austral los recibe a todos por igual con una posibilidad distintiva: la nieve de los valles, a pocos minutos de ushuaia, con su serenidad, sus cielos celestes y sus bosques privilegiados. Caminar con raquetas sobre la nieve es sentir la suavi-dad de esa superficie congelada bajo los pies. Es andar despacio hasta tomarle la habilidad a la suela extendida y poco habitual, y luego internarse sin límites entre los bosques de lengas para descubrir, silenciosamente, a algunos de sus habitantes, como zorros que miran cu-riosos el paso de los visitantes o castores diseñando sus diques ingenieriles; escuchar el sonido de las ramas

quejándose en el viento o el silbido de la ventisca bajo el cielo azul. Como la experiencia es altamente confortable y sólo hace falta estar atento a no dar un tropezón, pueden practicarla viajeros desde los 10 a los 60 años o más. Al pie de la montaña, sin enterrarse ni patinarse, es posible hacerse dueño del paisaje por un rato e imaginar que allí, debajo de la capa de nieve, hay un valle de turba que luce completamente distinto en la época estival.En el centro invernal de ushuaia blanca, emociona llegar con las raquetas hasta el valor de hogar del refugio de montaña Ernesto krund. Mientras que en Valle de tierra Mayor, se puede combinar el paseo con raquetas con una más vertiginosa salida a toda velocidad en trineos tirados por perros Huskies.S

There are families, people that walk on snow for the first time and also sports-people with lots of winters. The Southern-most cold receives all comers equally with a distinctive possibility: the snow of the valleys, a few minutes form Ushuaia, with serenity, its light blue skies, and its privileged woods.Walking with rackets on the snow is feeling the softness of the frozen surface under your feet. It is moving slowly till you learn to control the extended foot gear so uncommon, and then go into the Lenga forest to discover some of the inhabitants silently, such as the foxes, staring curious at the visitors or beavers designing their dams like engineers; hearing the sound of the branches creaking in the wind or the whistle of the snow powder under the blue sky.Since the experience is highly comfortable and you only need to pay attention not to trip, it can be practiced by travelers from ages 10 to 60. Pero la mayor de las sorpresas está en la zona subte-rránea, como resguardando el hallazgo con toda na-turalidad: es que allí está el dinosaurio hervíboro que los obreros, un día de la construcción de la bodega, encontraron al realizar los cimientos. todo se detuvo a merced del estelar fósil de titanosaurio de 75 millo-nes de años: se modificaron los planos, las etiquetas de los vinos se rediseñaron con el nombre de Saurus y el restaurante, un piso más arriba, pasó también a honrarlo con su nombre propio. Los sentidos terminan de deslumbrarse con la gastronomía del restaurante, afincada en la idea de fomentar los productos nativos a partir de un vínculo sólido con los productores del Chañar. Así, se lucen platos como arrollado de cordero patagónico tiernizado en el horno de barro, trucha a la espuma de Chardonnay, y sopa helada de frambuesas frescas (traídas de aquí nomás). ViLLA uNióN.- La Ruta 76 es el camino que lleva de Patquía a Villa unión, en La Rioja. En el medio, hay 215 mil hectáreas de sierras y monte que son, nada menos que Patrimonio Natural de la Humanidad. Representan la huella más fuerte que el triásico dejó en el paisaje argentino. Son registro del paso de los dinosaurios car-nívoros más bravos de estas latitudes, de la cultura aborigen y las poblaciones que vivieron bajo estos aleros, de la biodiver-sidad extensa en flora y fauna típicas del monte. Allí donde se erige la entrada oficial del Parque Nacional talampaya, el mito se vuelve postal. tanto oír de hablar de es-tos murallones inmensos para ahora es-tar a pocos minutos de sus 150 metros de altura. La bienvenida la dan los carteles que ad-vierten que no se les dé de comer a los zorros. ¿dónde estarán? El día está gris y los pequeñitos parecen dormir su siesta. A la espera del sol prometedor de esta re-gión de temperaturas extremas para que haga más cálida la tarde, los dos senderos junto a la zona de servicios del parque re-ciben la afluencia de los visitantes, aunque desde aquí el Cañón siga pareciendo un mito. Hacia la derecha, se abre el sim-pático Sendero del triásico, una forma de comprender en la escena real y con figuras de resina a escala la presencia de los dinosaurios millones de años atrás. En estas tierras se encontraron la mayor can-tidad de dientes de carnívoros del periodo triásico, entre ellos el Zupaysaurus, el más grande en tamaño y, por el nombre con el que fue bautizado, lo suficientemente temible, porque por estos lares, Zupay es

el diablo. Hacia la derecha del salón comedor y la oficina de los guardaparques, un sendero de menos de 2 kilómetros de recorrido se interna en el lenguaje fitogeográfico del Parque: así, con aire didáctico, chicos y grandes pueden visualizar huellas de pu-ma, zorros, guanacos y ñandúes. Primero, con sellos sobre la arena. y después, en vivo y directo, sobre el terreno. El juego se extiende en el reconocimiento de las plan-tas, cómo aprovechan el agua escasa y el sol abundante, y continúa en el mangru-llo, para intentar ver las paredes naranjas. Pero habrá que esperar: ningún vehículo puede ingresar al área protegida por ne-cesidades de protección y la excursión en camión 4x4 es la que lleva hasta el Cañón y sus virtudes exquisitas, con guías a bor-do. Mientras tanto, habrá mate, ansiedad y un zorrito: ahí está, al lado de la merienda, como un observador observado pleno de belleza.

Mientras se regresa a la base cercana al ingreso al parque, una pareja de ñandúes sorpren-derá a la carrera y otra dupla de maras demostrará por qué es el animal que ocu-pa el logotipo del lugar.

En verdad, primero se andará un rato en bicicleta (siempre en compañía y agendando previamente la ci-ta con un guía de Pagancillos, la localidad cercana que ideó esta excursión) hasta internarse en el backstage del Cañón, un sitio no menos importante por su valor geológico y por su inmensa belleza, pero a una escala diferente que el protago-nista clásico del parque. O al menos eso provoca caminar entre la formación de la Quebrada don Eduardo, un sitio donde las rocas que estaban encastradas por magia o destino en las paredes de la sie-rra, caen con sutileza dejando marcado el hueco a dónde pertenecían.En este páramo desolado e increíble, la aventura consiste en caminar por sende-ros no trazados entre paredón y paredón, sobre la propia formación y por debajo de las rocas que mantienen su equilibrio apiladas con sutileza. Perder el sentido de las horas es algo normal, hasta lógico: sin apurar el paso, se puede preguntar y sacarse dudas sobre este ecosistema con el guardaparques compañero a la mano, además de contemplar, palpar, reconocer la topografía. Cualquier ansiedad queda injustificada ahora: quien imaginaba antes del viaje al mítico talampaya, ahora puede narrarlo con el orgullo de haber hecho ca-mino propio por su interior. Cada milímetro de la escena es virtuoso. Es sentirse dentro, realmente dentro, del paisaje de talampaya.S

VILLA UNIÓN – Route 76 is the road that goes from Patquía to Villa Unión, in La Rioja. As we wait for the promise of the sun of this region of extreme temperatures to make the afternoon a little warmer, the two paths by the service area of the park receive visitors, though from here to the Canyon it still seems a myth. At least that is what you feel walking along the don Eduardo Ravine, a place where rocks were magically set into the walls of the sierra and fell leaving a hole.In this desolate and incredible area, the adventure consists of walking on ill-defined paths between walls, on the formation itself and under the boulders in subtle balance. It is normal to loose your sense of time, even logical: walking slowly you can ask and get answers to your questions on this eco-system with accompanying gamekeeper at hand, along with contemplating, touching, recognizing the topography. Now, no anxiety is justified: if you were imagining the trip to the mythical Talampaya before, now you can proudly tell the story of how you made your own way, walking there.Every millimeter of the scene is virtuous. You feel a part, really a part of the landscape of Talampaya.S

La versión más potente del sedán de Renault, se oculta detrás de discretos detalles. Spoilers que visualmente lo pegan más al piso, llantas más amplias diseño bitono sport y un ligero alerón el baúl, son sobrios retoques que lo di-ferencian en el exterior de las otras ver-siones de un modelo que ganó la calle por su espaciosa habitabilidad y confort. Pero el mayor diferencial está debajo del capot: este “gt” está equipado con un motor turbo de 2 litros, que se lleva de mil maravillas con la caja de cambios manual de seis marchas. Los 180 caballos y un gran torque brindan un manejo muy ágil, de reacciones rápidas, ideales para recuperar velocidad en un sobrepaso. Así es como no es necesario estar haciendo rebajes y la conducción se vuelve relaja-da pero entretenida, porque apenas uno acaricia el acelerador, el motor responde con pique. Es un sedán amplio, con un baúl enormemente familiar, que mantiene una estabilidad absoluta con una suspensión confortable para el andar urbano. incluso, el rodado de 17 pulgadas permite absorber varias irregularidades. Nuestro recorrido por La Rioja desde buenos Aires reunió condiciones de ca-minos y velocidades muy diversas, pero el consumo fue muy razonable: rondan-do al final del trip de 3300 km un pro-medio de 9 litros cada 100 km. Sin estridencias, el Fluence gt es una excelente opción deportiva madura. S

CóRdObA.– Juan ignacio de Loyola dejó su legado de tenacidad y prédica entre ríos, sierras, peperina y cor-taderas. Por allí caminaron con paso y convencimiento firme los jesuitas que el Papa Francisco se encarga de reivindicar por estos días desde el Vaticano. Por eso, además de por haber sido nombrado como Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la unesco, estos sitios y estancias de muros anchísimos, con patios centrales floridos y herrería artística hecha in situ hace 400 años, recobran su vitalidad como un circuito cada vez más visi-tado, con base en la ciudad de Córdoba. En un radio de no más de 80 km, cuatro de las cinco es-tancias (sumadas a la Manzana Jesuítica en el corazón céntrico de la capital) pueden ser visitadas, generalmente de martes a domingo, con recorridos guiados que ayudan a comprender la acción, la generación de recursos agrí-cola ganaderos, la arquitectura y el avance de la prédica de la Compañía de Jesús a partir de 1599. Los cascos fueron construidos entre 1616 y 1725. Caroya, por ejemplo, es la más antigua de las estancias. Es un case-río colonial abrazado por vides, cultivo típico del lugar, con puertas inmensas de madera tallada, un parque repleto de algarrobos, y el registro del trabajo militar dado que allí se abrió la primera fábrica de armas blancas de la Argentina. Parte del Camino Real del Alto Perú, siguiendo por la ahora Ruta Nacional 9 hacia el Norte, aparece el vecino Jesús María, con su estancia preludiada por un lago, con-vocante para el picnic. La iglesia de nave única abovedada

sobre un costado y las arcadas de medio punto a la cal del patio central, contrastan con muros de piedra y un estilo que mixtura la fe con la producción. Aquí sanaviro-nes y esclavos compartieron la vida y la lengua, así como las horas de trabajo rural, poniendo el mayor cuidado en la elaboración de los primeros vinos locales que fueran enviados al Rey de España. Apenas veinte kilómetros más adelante, adentrándose en el corazón serrano camino a Ascochinga, aparece la más imponente de las estancias: Santa Catalina, blanca e impo-luta, con su arquitectura barroca por dentro y el antiguo cementerio de la orden. Las hortensias nacen y florecen con naturalidad en cada uno de los tres patios, donde la tranquilidad se apodera de las visitas. La ranchería, donde habitaban los esclavos, merece también una mirada atenta para conocer la vida de la época. Si bien las tres estancias precedentes pueden visitarse, quizás, en un solo día, a la de Alta gracia se llega desde la capital a través de la Ruta 5. En el entorno más céntrico de la ciudad, la estancia se conserva de manera impeca-ble frente a su antiguo tajamar, una definición de paisaje urbano-histórico único en su tipo. Ahora sede del Museo Nacional Casa del Virrey Liniers, permite recorrer sus patios, las ruinas del molino, los curiosos baños que los dueños de casa no sabían utilizar, el mobiliario antiguo de cada cuarto, la cocina, la herrería y sobre el final de la visita, hasta animarse a probar trajes de la época para la foto. The ajisai flowers (hydrangea) are born and flower naturally in each of the three patios, where calm takes hold of visitors. The ranchería, where the slaves lived, also merits a look to see what living conditions were like then.Though the three preceding ranches can be visited possibly in a single day, you have to take Route 5 from the provincial capital to reach the one at Alta gracia. downtown, you find the ranch preserved impeccably across from its ancient tajamar (breakwater), a definition of a unique urban-historical landscape. Now a National Museum, known as the House of Viceroy Liniers, you can tour the patios, the ruins of the mill, the curios baths the owners of the house did not know how to use, the ancient furniture in each room, the kitchen, the iron works, and at the end of the visit, you can even try on clothes from that period for a photograph. ALEMANiA.– Serán las 2 de la tarde, poco más, poco menos. El reloj no importa. Cuando desde la ruta nacional 68 uno divisa el cartel que dice Alemania no resiste la tentación de detenerse. Será el nombre, será el puente, serán los pocos techitos a lo lejos. Faltan 99 km para llegar a Salta, u 81 para llegar a Cafayate. Pero el sonido del silencio más puro es convocante para hacer un al-to. Aquí, se escucha el silencio. Esa extraña fascinación conduce a cruzar el puente de hierro sobre el río de las Conchas. El auto acerca a la montaña y allí bajo el sol, está Alemania. Nombre europeo, aunque los locales insistan en agregarle una tilde en la í y el escenario parezca más del Lejano Oeste americano que de esta Salta vernácula. un galpón (cerrado a ésta y, tal vez, a todas horas) tiene tatuado en la chapa las letras de “gomería”. Más allá, las casas de adobe, una al lado de la otra, miran a una calle central donde sólo pasan flotando algunas pasturas y los

perros se alborotan ladrando a los curiosos intrusos. Las casas están cerradas. Las puertas de colores tienen ese encanto fotográfico de los candados y la pintura descas-carada, pero se agobian en una soledad irremediable. Sólo quedan por aquí unas 10 familias. un vecino toma mate a la sombra de un chañarcito e indica con la mano, sin hacer enojar al silencio, dónde hay alguien que se atreve a interrumpirlo. La chica se llama Celeste, es ar-tesana y luce feliz. Su pequeño hijo gatea en la galería de la vieja estación, donde sí hay una puerta abierta. Hace un poco de frío adentro, por las paredes anchas y el sol esquivo. Pero los tejidos de telar con lana de llama y vi-cuña elevan el termostato. también hay vasijas de barro, tupos de alpaca, pequeños recuerdos para el viajero que cruce el puente. dicen las historias de abuelos que por acá deambulan fantasmas que el tren dejó esperando en la estación del Ramal C-13, el primo menos famoso del C-14 del tren a las Nubes, cuando cesó su paso por el pueblo en 1971. Este pueblo supo ser cabecera del Ferrocarril Central Norte que llegaba de Cerrillos allá por 1912. Su calle central, entonces, supo estar llena de gente. Por acá no están sus fantasmas, sino una invitación a la belleza inerte de un pasado que no pudo ser futuro, pero igualmente es encantador. S

ALEMANIA – It is around 2 in the afternoon. The time does not matter. When from national route 68 you see the sign that says Alemania (germany, in Spanish) you do not resist the temptation to stop. Maybe it's the name, the bridge, the few roofs far away. It is still 99 km to Salta, or 81 to Cafayate, but the sound of the purest silence calls us to stop. Here you can hear the silence. That strange fascination takes you across the iron bridge over the River de las Conchas.The car comes closer to the mountain and there under the sun is Alemania. Further on, the adobe houses, side by side, open on a main street where there are only some wisps of grass moving and the dogs bark at the curious intruders. The houses are closed. The colored doors have the photographic charm of the locks and peeled paint, but they feel the weight of an irremediable solitude.There are only some 10 families left here. A neighbor has mate under the shade of a chañar (geoffroea decorticans, also known as palo verde, green wood)and points with his hand, trying not to interrupt the silence, to where there is someone that will. Era el lugar ideal para que padre e hija se disfrutaran sin complicaciones. Los secretos del éxito se basaron en la contención que ofrecía el plan: un lugar donde todos comenzaban a familiarizarse al rato de haber embarcado, un espacio compartido sin peligros y con cientos de actividades prefijadas cada noche para el día siguiente y un kids club, refugio de los más chicos, que asegu-raba horas de diversión y descanso para los grandes. Los baños family, la flexibilidad del servicio a bordo para confi-gurar las habitaciones, la diversidad de comidas y la contrata-ción de excursiones compartidas con otras familias con niños en cada puerto colmaron las expectativas del dúo. RESiStENCiA.– Chaco fue un epicentro cultural casi desde siempre. Si tenemos en cuenta su provincialización en 1951, sólo tenía tres años de vida cuando se fundó el Fogón de los Arrieros y empezó una historia sin fin. Ese espacio nació como un espontáneo club cultural en la casa de Aldo boglietti, un rosarino amante del arte y de la amistad. ubicado en la calle brown 350, un grupo de estudiosos con formaciones variadas, casi sin darse cuenta, forjaron el futuro de las siguientes generaciones.del Fogón salió la idea de realizar un concurso de es-culturas. En esa primera edición el único material per-mitido fue la dura madera del urunday, un árbol local fuertemente ligado al desarrollo del Chaco. Sin embargo, desde 1996 se permitió el uso de otros materiales, como el mármol travertino y distintos metales.El siglo XX empezaba a despedirse y la cantidad de obras

decoraba la ciudad en todas sus veredas, bulevares y plazas. La idea de crear un museo al aire libre finalmente se hizo realidad. El Consejo Municipal de Resistencia la reconoció oficialmente como Ciudad de las Esculturas y estableció que las obras en la vía pública son Patrimonio Cultural.1998 fue un año soñado. produjo el efecto dominó tan esperado: el concurso se trasladó a su nueva casa defi-nitiva, al Parque 2 de febrero, actualmente predio MusEuM; se inauguraron talleres de restauración; y las obras de los certá-menes anteriores llegaron a un destino común para todas en la renovada Laguna Argüello. Mejor imposible.La presencia de la obra de arte generó una identidad diferente en el contexto del equipamiento urbano de la ciudad y una participación activa y solidaria de los habitantes en un proyecto compartido por todos los habitantes. El último sábado 19 de julio finalizó la edición 2014 con la participación de diez artistas consagrados, como representan-tes de países de los cinco continentes. Compitieron a cielo abierto y en público, cada uno con su obra original e inédita con el título de “Homo Novus” como tema ins-pirador. Este año el ganador fue el francés thierry Ferreira, un hijo de portugueses dueño de un lenguaje español bien par-ticular.Además se realizó el Premio desafío, con-curso con más de cincuenta estudiantes avanzados de los institutos de bellas Artes y se sumaron obras colectivas con pueblos originarios; jornadas de arte lúdi-co para los niños; obras de teatro, danza, conciertos, circo y shows acrobáticos; y el soporte teórico de talleres, muestras y conferencias.No quedó ninguna plaza hotelera libre en la ciudad. y los turistas no sólo disfruta-ron del arte sino también los amantes de la pesca no se perdieron la visita a la isla del Cerrito, un paraíso en la confluencia del río Paraná y Paraguay, cuna del torneo de pesca del dorado, también conocido como el “tigre del Paraná”.Los osados se animaron a recorrer las cua-tro horas de viaje y visitar el Campo del Cielo, una reserva con evidencias de la llu-via de fuego, que regó de cuerpos celestes kilómetros y kilómetros de bosques y llanu-ras. Allí pueden encontrarse hoy enormes cráteres, meteoritos y fragmentos de ellos producto del gran impacto, del que fueron testigo las comunidades indígenas que ha-bitaban la zona mucho antes de la llegada de los primeros expedicionarios. RESISTENCIA – Chaco has been a cultural center almost forever. If we consider it was declared a province in 1951, only three years passed before the Fogón de los Arrieros (Bonfire of the Herders) was created and the endless story began. That space was born as a spontaneous cultural club at the home of Aldo Bolgietti, a man born in the city of Rosario and who loved art and friendship. In this place, 350 Brown street, a group of scholars with diverse orientations, almost unintendedly, forged the future of the following generations.From the Fogón came the idea of a sculpture contest. In that first edition the only material admitted was the hard wood of the Urunday, a local tree closely linked to the development of Chaco. But form 1996 on the use of other materials was allowed, including Travertine marble and different metals.The twentieth century was saying goodbye and a great number of works decorated the city on all its sidewalks, boulevards, and plazas. The idea of creating an outdoor museum finally became a reality. The Resistencia Municipal Council recognized it officially as the City of Sculptures and established that the works in public spaces were a Cultural Patrimony.1998 was a dream year. Not even the most optimist would of thought of a first International Sculpture Biennial as marvelous as this, with local artists and representatives of other countries. The May 25th, 1810 Plaza, the central space of the city, was full. The organizers, the Urunday Foundation, adopted the permanent motto of uniting the sculpture artists of Argentina, America, and the world. In 2006 the National Senate and lower chamber declared Resistencia “National Capital of Sculpture”, and the long awaited domino effect was produced: the contest moved to its new space, the February 2 Park, now called MusEUM; restoration workshops were inaugurate; and the works of previous contests came to a common destiny in the renovated Laguna Argüello. It could not get any better.The presence of the works of art generated a different identity in the context of the urban equipment of the city and an active and solidary participation of the neighbors in a shared project.The 2014 edition ended last July 19, with the participation of ten well-known artists, representing countries in five continents. They competed outdoors and publicly, each one with an original work, under the title “Homo Novus”, as the inspiring theme. This year the winner was the French artist Thierry Ferreira, of Portuguese ascent, with a particular intonation in his Spanish.There was also the Challenger Prize contest, with more than fifty advanced students of the Fine Arts institutes, and collective works by native peoples; also ludic art for children; there was theater, dance, concerts, circus and acrobatic shows; and the theoretical support of workshops, presentations and conferences.The adventurous took a four hour trip to Campo del Cielo (Sky Country), a reservation with evidence of a rain of fire, that covered kilometers of woods and plains with celestial bodies. There, enormous craters, meteorites, and fragments can be found, resulting from a great impact that was seen by native communities, with presence in the area long before the first expeditionaries came here.S

FiAMbALÁ.– Cuando uno pasa por detrás del pueblo de Saujil, 10 kilómetros de Fiambalá, en el oeste de la provin-cia de Catamarca, comienza a advertir la presencia de un paisaje insólito, casi mágico. Se lo aprecia de lejos al mirar hacia el Este, pero sólo parece asomarse como con cierta timidez. donde están recostadas en el cerro las últimas ca-sitas del pueblo, hay un punto en el que se deja el vehículo para empezar a trepar la loma. Hasta aquí, nadie se daría cuenta de la grandeza que espera después. La duna de Saujil aparece y de por sí, se ve inmensa. La agiganta su color claro en contraste con el cielo abundante en celeste, sin una sola nube. Con casi 80 metros de arena blanca y fina, es desafío para los sandboarders que llevan su tabla para deslizarse sin temor a los magullones. Los hoteles de Fiambalá y tinogasta suelen ofrecer alquiler de tablas para los que quieran probar la adrenalina. deleite para los ojos, no es sencillo trepar este paisaje cues-ta arriba: paso a paso, los pies se hunden y las piernas se cansan. Pero una vez arriba, se puede observar el otro lado de la duna encajonado entre rocas como un reloj de arena que se resiste a fluir. Puede haber sido duro el ascenso. Pero es un placer auténtico como el que experimentan los niños el de dejarse caer sin obstáculos por la pendiente. El sol puede ser impiadoso en estos lares desérticos. Sólo un algarrobo o algún arbusto espinoso se animan a dar som-bra en el recodo de la montaña. There, where the last little houses of the town lean on the foot of the mountain, there is a point where you leave your vehicle to start climbing. The Saujil dune appears and it looks immense. The hotels at Fiambalá and Tinogasta offer board rentals for those who want to taste the adrenaline of sliding down. Siempre ligado a su querida geografía mendocina, en 2004 abrió el restaurant de la bodega Ruca Malen (por el que recientemente obtuvo un premio en el certa-men internacional global best of wine tourism) y el formato fue tan exitoso que se aplicó también en Catena Zapata, Melipal y Lagarde, cuyas co-cinas hoy coordina. Sus diseños de restaurantes apuntan a la rentabilidad y la eficiencia, donde predominen las virtudes de los vinos del lugar.

Ingredientes• 120 grs de quinoa blanca• 50 grs de trigo pelado• 4 choclos amarillos• 1 tomate perita• 1 cebolla pequeña• 80cc de aceite de oliva, sal y pimienta blanca, • caldo de verduras y 150 grs de queso crema• 1 limón, albahaca fresca y un atado de perejil

PreparaciónLavar bien la quinoa con agua fría hasta que esté cristalina, colocarla a fuego suave y hervir durante 10 minutos. Lavar el trigo y dejarlo en remojo durante toda una noche. Juntar la quinoa y el trigo, perejil picado, sal, pimienta, aceite de oliva, jugo y ralladura de limón. dejar en la heladera 3 horas antes de servir.Para la humita, cocinar los choclos en caldo de verduras y rallar a mano, dejando enfriar la pasta. Agregar el tomate picado bien pequeño sin las semillas, el queso crema, dos cucharadas de aceite, albahaca y cebolla finamente picadas. Formar una crema homogénea y dejar enfriar. Servir sobre la ensalada de quinoa junto a algunas hojas frescas.S
