Instructions to the Candidates

Note:

1 Final year MBBS Phase III Part II, Final Year BDS Part-II, BAMS III, BHMS IV, BUMS III and BNYS IV candidates are required to pay the Convocation and Provisional Degree Certificate fees along with Examination Fees.

2 The failed candidates [repeaters] need not pay the marks card fee as per Circular No. REP/Examn/M.C/4/01-02 dated 24-07-2001.

3 The fees once paid cannot be refunded or readjusted under any circumstances. A change of Centre shall not be permitted.

4 Admission Cards are not being issued to the Under Graduate students admitted during and after 2001-2002. These students are required to produce the Identity / Admit Card issued by the University in lieu of Admission Card.

Instructions to the Principals / Heads of the Institutions

1. Attendance:

The Principals of Colleges are required to furnish attendance of candidates by calculating the attendance up to the last working day of the course / term. There is no provision for condonation of attendance.

2. Internal Assessment (I.A):

The I.A marks of the following faculties should be sent to the Registrar Evaluation RGUHS, Bangalore 1. Medical

Last Date for Online Submission of Internal Assessment marks (Statement of Internal Assessment Marks) (Regular & Repeaters). 2nd, 3rd and final year Medical & Dental for all scheme Note: Hard copies of IA Marks signed by the students and Frozen Copies of Online Submission of IA Marks shall be submitted separately to the University with in the stipulated date.

Note: The “I.A Marks” received after the above date will not be considered for declaration of results for which the principal is solely held responsible as per the letter No. Ex- I/UE/IA/Marks/105/98-99 dated 21-12-1998.

1. Shortage of Attendance: Fees should not be collected from ineligible candidates of MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BNYS & BUMS students.

2. Internal Assessment Marks: Fees should not be collected from MBBS Students who have less than 35% of I.A. marks in a particular subject.

3. The Principals should not allow ineligible students (Attendance shortage and I.A Marks less than 35%) to appear for the Theory Examination. Principals are solely responsible for any lapses in this matter.

4. Forward the filled in examination application forms arranged Examination-wise / Batch–wise / scheme-wise. The statement showing the nonappearance of candidates in any subjects should be sent separately.

5. The filled-in examination application forms properly signed and affixed with the latest stamp size photographs should reach the Registrar [Evaluation] on or before the specified dates by insured Post or personal delivery.

All the Heads of the Institutions are required to submit the details of SC/ST & Category-I candidates under CET quota enclosing the caste and income certificate of the parents along with Form No. I & II. The University will approve the names of the eligible candidates for the exemption of payment of examination fee. The exam fee shall be claimed by the Institutions concerned from the concerned Departments as per G.O.No.SWL/229/BCA/80 dated 16-12-82 and remit the same to the University once the grant is received. The Financial Statement in respect of such Students who have claimed exemption shall be submitted to the undersigned and a copy to the Finance Officer, RGUHS, Bangalore separately.

The students under management quota and the repeaters belonging to SC/ST and Category I have to pay the examination fees (Reference letter No.REG/EX-II/SC/ST/BCM 59/2003-04 dated 18.11.2003).

All payment shall strictly be through RTGS/NEFT [SBM Account No. 54019480870 IFSC Code SBMY0040012] only.

Cheque / Pay Orders / Demand Drafts will not be accepted from 01.04.2015 as per circular No.RGU/FO/PYT-GTW/2014-15 dated 10.02.2015. The payment receipt should be sent along with the statement showing the details of Names of the candidates, Register Numbers, Subject appearing and fees paid etc., “In triplicate”.

Further, the filled in examination application forms should be sent on or before the due date.

The Principals should send separately the statement showing fee details of Provisional Degree Certificate and Convocation Fees collected from the students who are appearing for the first time in the Final Year Examination with details such as Register Number, Name of the Candidate & amount paid.

Please notify all University Communications especially this Examination Notification prominently on the Notice Boards of the institution for the benefit of the students. Internal Assessment marks and Attendance of the Students should be announced on the Notice Board for the benefit of the students without fail.
