Dear Parents,
British Schools in the Middle East
will be organising a swimming competition in the coming month
of April and we would like to take a team of students to represent our
school.
It is a registration requirement that students provide their recorded times with proof of record-
ing, so if we have any students that would like to partici-pate, parents can send their recorded times proof to my

Uniform Procedure
This procedure should be followed when a student is identified as not wearing the correct uniform.
Step 1
-Teacher identifies that a parent has sent a child to school wearing the incorrect uniform.
-Teachers will record the information on Engage (ensuring it is visible to parents).
-This step will continue for 2 further days
Step 2
-Uniform Infringement Letter 1 is issued by the Head of Year along with a C1
-Uniform Monitoring Report.
-Students will be monitored for 2 more days. This will be reported on Engage and in the C1 Uniform Monitoring Report.
Step 3
- Uniform Infringement Letter 2 is issued by the Key Stage Leader.
- Class teachers will continue to report on Engage and will complete the C1 Uniform - Monitoring Report for a further 2 days
Step 4
- On the 10th school day, Uniform Infringement Letter 3 will be issued by Ms Leanne, the Head of Primary,
-The letter will be dated. The timeframe given to parents on the letter will be 4 days (including weekends).
-Once this letter is issued, the case will be referred to our Social Worker, Ms Anam via email.
Step 5
- On the 14th day (since step 1) an ADEK Level 1 written warning will be issued.
- Ms Anam will contact parents for a meeting to sign the letter. Should a parent refuse to attend, Ms Anam will send out the letter via email.
Step 6
-After a further 5 days (19 days in total) ADEK Level 2 written warning will be issued.
-Ms Anam will contact parents for a meeting to sign the letter. Should a parent refuse to attend, Ms Anam will send out the letter via email.
Step 7
-ADEK Level 3 Suspension Letter will be issued and students will be referred to the School Principal, Mr Ciaran who will ar-range a meeting to speak with the parents and decide on any further action.
