Today, Sunday 5th June, there is a Diocesan retiring collection at all Masses to support the Catholic Trust of England and Wales. This supports the Bishop’s conference to conduct its legal, financial and charitable activities by supplying funding for the central administration of the Church in England & Wales.

The Sacraments

Congratulations to all the boys and girls making their First Holy Communion both last Sunday and this weekend (Sat & Sun). We welcome all of you and your family and your friends. This is a truly a wonderful day in your lives. The whole parish is delighted and thanking God for this very special day.

Youth Ministry Sun 12th Jun @ 1.45pm

Parish Prayer Room If you are interested in working with young people in our Parish, a meeting will be held on. For refreshment purposes, please confirm attendance via the parish e-mail/phone or clergy. Thank you. The qualities we are looking for in adult volunteers: 1) An active Catholic in good standing with the Church with no impediment to full Communion 2) Reasonably knowledgeable and believes and supports the teaching of the Catholic Church 3) Comfortable relating to young people, genuinely likes and respects teens 4) and understands their developmental levels 5) Able to make a commitment and follow through

6) Willing to serve and put others first 7) Able to listen and be available to teens 8) Is enthusiastic 9) Has a sense of humour (it helps!) 10) Is trustworthy, must be of good character, reputation, background and record 11) Is prayerful 12) Maintains appropriate professional boundaries with young people 13) Continues their lifelong formation of the Catholic Faith. Anyone who wishes to work with young people in our Parish must complete all necessary applications forms, provide references and attend Safeguarding courses as well as have a parish-role based DBS check. Ongoing leadership course(s) will be made available regularly throughout the year.
