Please remember Sr. Kathleen her Community, friends and all who knew her, in your prayers.
Please visit the web site. It contains some powerful words from the Holy Father, Pope Francis on growing in wonder to help us treasure more deeply the gift of human life. Doing this helps us care for each other, and enables us to welcome and accept those with different needs & abilities; refugees, the elderly, the unborn, the forgotten, the abandoned.
Prayer All powerful God, you are present in the whole universe and in the smallest of your creatures. You
embrace with your tenderness, all that exists. Pour out upon us the power of your love, that we may protect life and beauty. Fill us with peace that we may live as
brothers and sisters, harming no one.

Fr. Michael writes…? We’ve been looking for Parish Leaders for Youth Ministry and I was pleased to have 4 people come along to the meeting last Sunday offering different gifts and skills. Thank you to those who attended and those who sent their apologies for absence. We need to build a full team for this vital ministry. Please mark the date and come along to our 2nd meeting. It might be that you are good with young people’s activities; music, IT, public speaking, justice & peace…”come & see” how you might help. Anyone who wishes to work with young people in our Parish must complete all necessary applications forms, provide references and attend Safeguarding courses as well as have a parish-role based DBS check. Ongoing leadership course(s) will be made available regularly throughout the year. PPC Attendees and

Prayer before Exam Many of our young people have and are still studying for summer examinations. They are at our schools, in colleges and universities locally and further afield. We wish them well and continue to keep them in constant prayer. We especially remember the students and staff of our High School, who like all communities are working to ensure that each student reaches their fullest potential.
Prayer Dear Lord, as I take this exam, I thank you that my value is not based on my performance but on your great love for me. Come into my heart so that we can walk through this time together. Help me not only with this test, but the many tests of life that are sure to come my way. As I take this exam, bring back to my mind everything I have studied and be gracious with what I have overlooked. Help me to remain focussed and calm, confident in the facts and in my ability and firm in the knowledge that no matter what happens today, you are there with me. Amen.
?Lourdes Parish Pilgrim writes: The Pilgrimage was a good experience which we enjoyed a lot. There was a daily 9pm procession which included saying the Rosary. Most languages were used during the processions and the International Mass. The Grotto was very prayerful and we could really pray without distraction. We were blessed by being Pilgrims. Ave, Ave, Ave Maria !
