Where is the monastery?
It is in “Anatoli”, a village built at an altitude of 960m, on the mountain of Kissavos
It is 42km away from Larissa, in Central Greece

The monastery was founded by martyr Damianus in the 15th century.
Nuns from all over the world live in the monastery.

The nuns showed us their organic farming and products
We discussed about new, organic methods of cultivation
The nuns explained to us in simple words how valuable organic products are.
We borrowed organic seeds for our own vegetable garden in our
school!
And then, we had some fun in the activity playground outside the
monastery!
We learnt a lot!
We enjoyed ourselves the most!
