In The Footsteps of St. Paul ( Wit h 3 N i ght C ru is e! )

The important role that Greece has played in history is widely known; philosophy, the

arts, medicine, democracy. But there is also a great page in the history of Christianity: early days of Christianity and the ministry of the Apostle Paul! This amazing man, moved by the Holy Spirit preached "good news" to Jews and Gentiles. Traveling along the major trade routes of the Roman empire and visiting large thriving communities of Asia Minor and Greece his mission was accomplished; Christianity became the biggest religion in the world. Our tours are not just tours; they are an inspiring journey to the actual places where the Apostle Paul lived and preached God's word. Travel with our bible-oriented guides down timeless roads; take time to pray and rejoice in the ancient biblical sites; visit thousand-year-old churches and temples; and encounter a unique spiritual experi-ence that will help you to better understand "The Steps of Paul" selecting bible-oriented guides, incorporating lectures and providing printed material, for people to achieve a

deeper understanding of the Apostle Paul and his work.

Day 1, Friday, Sep 30 - Depart Los Angeles to Greece Departure for the overnight flights to Greece. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.

Day 2 – Saturday, Oct 1, Arrive Thessaloniki, Greece You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Time to relax before dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki.

Day 3 – Sunday, Oct 2, Phillippi, Kavala, Thessaloniki Visit Philippi where Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe, sowing the seeds of Christianity. "And from there (He went) to Philippi, which is the leading city of the district of Macedonia and a Roman Colony. We remained in this city some days..." Acts 16:12-18 Here Paul baptized a certain woman named Lydia, the first Chris-tian convert in Europe. The Roman forum, completely excavated, is from after Paul's time. Among the ruins, located on the rocky ledge above the town's main road is the prison where Paul and Silas were thrown. Continue into the modern port city of Kavala, ancient Neapolis, where Paul accompanied by Silas, Luke and Timothy, first set foot in Europe. Your sightseeing today will include the Museum of Byzantine Culture Dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki.

Day 4 – Monday, Oct 3, Thessaloniki, Meteora: Thessaloniki city-tour Paul preached in Thessaloniki during the winters of 49-50 AD and wrote two epis-tles to the ancient Thessalonians. See the ramparts of the city, the triumphal Arch of Galerius starting at the Via Egnatia, once a strategic artery of the Roman Em-pire. Depart for Kalambaka, Meteora Monasteries. Dinner and overnight in Kalam-baka. Day 5 –Tuesday, Oct 4, Kalambaka - Delphi Visit Meteora Monasteries. Among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks, that seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless monasteries where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Continue to Delphi.

Day 6 – Wednesday, Oct 5, Delphi - Athens Visit Delphi, the center of the ancient world (navel) of the earth, whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic world. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Phthios. Visit the site and the museum and continue to Ath-ens.“ Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription “ to an unknown God”. What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you…”. Athens, is one of the most glorious cities in the world and the cradle of western civilization as we know it today. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

Day 7- Thursday, Oct 6, Athens - Excursion to Corinth We will visit the Acropolis to see the ruins of the Parthenon, Erectheum and Propy-lae. For twenty five centuries, the panorama of this city is dominated by the rock of the Acropolis; we see the ruins of the Parthenon, the Erectheum and the Propylae. Afterwards, we will ascend Mars Hill where Paul spoke to the ancient Athenians about the one and only * God. From here we have an excellent view of the ancient agora; former center of the Athenian public life. We continue for a drive through the city to see the House of Parliament on Syntagma Square, the evzones in their picturesque uniforms guarding the Presidential Palace and the Tomb of the Un-known Soldier. We also see the Library, the University, the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympics of the modern era were held, the temple of the Olympian Zeus, Adrian’s Arch, and Mycenae. This afternoon we continue our tour to An-cient Corinth. We’ll visit the Corinth Canal en-route. Here, under the shadow of the towering Acropolis, St. Paul preached and lived for two years. The vigorous and mostly Gentile Church he founded here in 50 AD caused him much grief and prompted him to write, at least, four letters to them. Visit the ruins of the ancient city where Paul worked with Aquila and Priscilla. See the remains of the first centu-ry shops, the agora where Paul's trial by Gallio took place, the Fountain of Peirene, Temple of Apollo, the Bema. Return to Athens for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – Friday, Oct 7, Athens - Start 3-day Cruise (Luis Hellenic Cruise Lines) Mykonos Our first port-of-call is Mykonos. It is the most cosmopolitan of all Greek islands and attracts many visitors from all over the globe, including large numbers of art-ists and intellectuals. Your coaches will take you to Hora the island's capital where

you'll enjoy a walking tour in the narrow cobbled streets of the town, passing by chic boutiques, elegant nightclubs and white washed houses till reaching Alefkandra. Alefkandra is a charm-ing corner of Hora, known also as the "Venice" of Mykonos. The houses are built on the sea, with wood-en balconies that evoke Venice. These were built from the mid 18th century on-ward and were homes of wealthy merchants and captains. At one of the famous restau-rants of Alefkandra you'll enjoy the sunset on Mykonos island while drinking your refreshment accompanied by Greek meze. You'll return then to Mykonos Town (Hora) from where you'll take the ship's shuttle service back to the port to meet your ship!

Day 9 –Saturday, Oct 8, Kusadasi & Ephesus (Mary's House) & Patmos We begin our day arriving at Kusadasi is a lively Turkish port. Drive through the colourful town of Kusadasi to reach Mt. Koressos. Situated in a small valley, it is here where you will visit the humble chapel which lies on the site of the little house where The Virgin Mary is believed to have spent her last days. Despite the many controversies, the Christian World still favours this belief and the site has been officially sanctioned by the Vatican for pilgrimage. Continue on to Ancient Ephesus and accompanied by your guide, walk through the Magnesian Gate which is the entrance to the ancient city of Ephesus. Your guided walking tour will take you through one of the most magnificent excavations in the world. See the Odeon (concert hall), the Fountain of Trajan, the steam-heated Baths of Scolastika, the Temple of Hadrian and the Latrians, the Library of Celsus and The Great Theatre, where St. Paul preached, which is the largest theatre in antiquity having a capacity of 24,000 people. Walk back to your motor coach along the Arcadian Way, where Mark Anthony and Cleopatra once rode in procession. While driving back to Kusa-dasi and just outside Ephesus, view the Basilica of St. John, which was erected over his grave in the 6th Century AD by the Emperor Justinian. Before returning to the ship, enjoy free time in Kusadasi. Continue our journey, Patmos, where we will enjoy a short journey to the village of Chora, where the monastery of St. John is built within the walls of a strong fortifica-tion. As you walk uphill towards the entrance of the monastery marvel at this mag-nificent structure, which was build 900 years ago, exceptional in its architecture. View the courtyard, the monk's dining room and the old bakery before you visit the main church noting its outstanding frescoes and interior decoration. Next, see the priceless ecclesiastical treasures housed in the beautiful but small museum: books and manuscripts, mosaics, Icons, splendid medieval textiles and vestments as well as jewelry. Return to your motorcoach to continue on to the nearby Grotto of the Apocalypse, where above stands the Monastery of the Apocalypse, a sub-unit of the main monastery. Walk down the steps to visit the Grotto of the Apocalypse. Here you will see the silver niches in the wall that mark the pillow and ledge used as a desk by the author of the Book of the Revelation as well as the three-fold crack made by the voice of God emphasizing the honor of the Holy Trinity. After-wards, drive back to the port of Scala and enjoy some free time in this quaint and picturesque harbor.

Day 10 – Sunday, Oct 9, Heraklion and Santorini In the morning we will visit Heraklion. Heraklion is just three miles away from the fantastic ruins of the Palace of Knossos. Discovered in 1899 and partially recon-structed, the elaborate Palace is believed to be the mythical Labyrinth of King Minos and the seat of ancient Minoan culture. It is in Heraklion where Paul met the owner and captain of the ship who warned him of continuing his journey to Rome. In the afternoon we will cruise on to the idyllic island of Santorini . Santorin is per-haps the most breathtaking of all the Greek Islands. In the town of Thira white-washed houses, narrow streets, open-air cafes and glittering boutiques cling to steep cliffs, accessible by cable-car or mule. Return back to the ship.

Day 11 – Monday, Oct 10, Piraeus - Athens Today marks the end of our cruise. After disembarkation you will be taken for a tour of Athens and the Archeological Museum. Dinner and overnight in Athens.

Day 12 – Tuesday, Oct 11, Athens – Los Angeles We’ll transfer to the airport for our return flights home with memories for a lifetime!

in writing (mail, fax or e-mail). Phone calls can not be used as a form of cancellation. It is the individual’s responsibility to confirm 206 Tours' receipt of cancellations regardless of their form. Refunds will be issued within 30 to

60 days of receipt and pending return of airline tickets and receipt of written

notice of cancellation. Refunds for payments made by credit card are subject to an additional 3.5% fee. No change of names or substitutions are permitted.

No refund or cancellation fees will be waived due to death or sickness. TRAVEL GUARD TRAVEL INSURANCE 206 Tours strongly suggests

the purchase of Traveler's Insurance. Travel Guard Insurance offers a waiver of pre-existing conditions if insurance is purchased at the time of deposit. Travelers insurance can not be purchased after your trip is paid in full. Travel

CANCEL FOR ANY REASON PROTECTION PLAN 206 Tours offers an optional additional protection plan for $199 which permits travelers to cancel for any reason up until the day prior to departure

with out penalty. You MUST file a claim with Travel Guard insurance if you cancel your reservation, and if you are denied reimbursement from Travel Guard for any reason 206 Tours will refund your losses in

cash in full (not including the insurance and cancel protection premi-ums). You MUST select this option at the time of booking and it must

be paid with your deposit. You MUST purchase standard travel insurance in order to purchase the cancel for any reason protection plan (unless you are a NYresident).

AIR TRANSPORTATION Air transportation is in economy class on IATA-approved carriers. Ticketing must be completed no later than 14 days prior to departure. Fares are based on levels in effect at the

time of printing and prices and schedules are subject to change without notice. All travel is subject to the airlines terms of carriage. 206 Tours

is not responsible for any cancellations, loss, delays, injury, illness, or expenses incurred due to actions made by the airlines. For any issues which arise in relation to airline service complaints and compensation

should be addressed to the carrier. AIRPORT TAXES, FEES & FUEL CHARGES Airport taxes (approx. $150) are NOT included in our tour packages unless other-

wise indicated. Airport taxes are based on departure city and govern-ment fees which are subject to change until tickets are issued (airport taxes include Federal Inspection Fees for the U.S. Customs and

Immigration; International Air Transportation Tax; Agricultural tax; security fees, and other airport related taxes). Airport taxes are collect-

SEAT ASSIGNMENT Random seats are assigned for all group participants. If you would like to secure a specific seat, or sit with a travel companion please advise us of such request at the time of

booking, we will make an effort to accommodate you, however we cannot guarantee. If you must have specific seat we recommend you to

be at the airport at least three hours prior to departure and arrange the seat assignment with your airline's gate agent. Bulkhead and exit row seating can never be requested prior to the day of departure. 206 Tours

can never guarantee specific seats, which are at the discretion of the airline & are pending availability, subject to seat map changes LAND ONLY Transfers are NOT included in Land Only costs.

From time to time, a tour may be canceled due to non-materialization. If you chose to purchase a Land Only package and arrange your own domestic or international flight independently of us, be advised that

206 Tours is not responsible for domestic or international flights or transfers of any kind. Booked or purchased items outside of 206tours

are sole responsibility of client. TRANSFERS Our programs include group round-trip transfers. Pilgrims or passengers who did not purchase "all-inclusive tour" or

who purchased land only package and are arriving or leaving inde-pendently must transfer at their own expense. Expenses incurred for transfers due to lateness of flights are at the expense of the passenger

and may be claimed for reimbursement from the airlines. No smoking is allowed on motor coach.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS Hotel accommodations are based on twin-bedded or double rooms. 206 Tours reserves the right to substitute similar category hotels without prior notice. In some hotels

triple accommodation is possible, however, no reduction in cost is available for triple rooms. A limited number of single rooms are also available at a supplemental rate.

PRIVATE ROOMS and SINGLE SUPPLEMENT A limited number of single rooms is available (on request basis only) at the

supplement price. Single rooms provide privacy, but they are in some hotels smaller than twin or double rooms and sometimes may be poorly located, especially in the older hotels. As a general ratio we are

able to confirm 10% of the total number of group participants in single rooms. If ratio is higher special supplements may be implemented for something referred to "single in double room" at an additional rate to

the single supplement rate listed. If passengers are traveling alone and

wish to have 206 Tours assign a roommate we will do our best, how-ever, if if we do not succeed in assigning a same sex roommate a

single supplement fee will be applied. MEALS Most trips includes two meals per day (breakfast and

dinners) which are served at your hotel or local restaurants. Beverages are not included with dinners where not indicated. In case you chose not to have a meal, there is no refund for unused meals. Although we

cannot guarantee, we will try and accommodate each special meal request on flights as well as at hotels. Please advise of such a request at the time of booking. We can not guarantee that special meal/diet

requests can be met. BAGGAGE Each tour participant is permitted to bring one checked suitcase, one small carry on bag, and one personal

item (i.e. purse, laptop case). In general, the airlines permit 1 checked bag. Please check with your specific airline to verify the size and weight allowances. 206 Tours is not responsible for the loss of, theft

of, delay, or damage to a participant's belongings. RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE 206 Tours acts as a tour operator. The suppliers providing transportation, sightseeing arrangements and

hotel accommodations for the tour program are independent contrac-tors and are not agents or employees of 206 Tours. All coupons,

receipts and tickets issued are subject to the terms and conditions specified by suppliers. By utilizing the service of the suppliers, you agree that 206 Tours will not be liable for any change in flight or

itinerary schedule, strikes, delay, acts of governments, fires, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, accident, loss, injury, or damage to you or to those traveling with you

in connection with any accommodations, transportation or any other

services or resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence or condi-tions beyond its control, including defects in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, thefts, delay or cancellation of or changes in itinerary for any

act, omission, or event during the time you are on board the aircraft. Neither 206 Tours and/or agents of the airlines concerned are to be held

responsible for the late arrival of passengers at airports or hotels due to inclement weather, nor are they to be held liable for payment or any refund for transfers or unused hotel accommodations or meals occasioned

by such late arrivals at the hotels holding rooms as confirmed itineraries. Passengers must bear all such losses or expenses. To guard against unforeseen health or other circumstances, we recommend you purchase

our optional travel insurance. 206 Tours is not responsible for circum-stances beyond its control. In circumstances where trip cancellations

resulting from the inability for trip to depart as scheduled, such as cancel-lations due to acts of war and/or terrorism, war, God, or nature takes place, 206 Tours is not liable for restitution. Though every effort will be

made to follow the itinerary, it should be considered as an indication of the tour, rather than a contract of places to be visited. Occasionally local religious holidays, national days, traffic conditions and other events may

necessitate changes in the sequence of visits or the missing of certain visits. We will have daily mass and strive to be in places as indicated.

However, sometimes this is not possible as the site may not be available for Mass or itinerary changes are forced upon us. In this case an alterna-tive site for Mass will be arranged.

SPECIAL MEDICAL CONDITIONS You must report any disability requiring special attention to 206 Tours at the time of registration for any tour. We make every effort to accommodate disabled passengers by

reserving for them wheelchair assistance at airports and handicap accessi-ble rooms where available, however, we cannot guarantee and are not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or

other independent suppliers. Be aware that all of our tours are operated outside the U.S. where the Americans with Disabilities Act is not appli-

cable and facilities for disabled individuals are limited. Most transporta-tion services, including the touring motor coaches, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts. We regret that we cannot provide individual

assistance to any tour participant for walking, dining, while in their room, on flight, getting on and off motor coaches and other vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified and physically able companion(s) must

accompany travelers who need special assistance. It is the passenger's responsibility to arrange for such assistance prior to making their reserva-

tions. Motorized scooters are unsuitable and impossible to accommodate. 206 Tours is not responsible for any medical condition that occurs prior, during or after the tour. Additionally, airlines are not able to guarantee or

provide assistance for disabled travelers including special seating. Preg-nancy, Breast-Feeding, and Travel Pregnant women considering interna-tional travel should be advised to evaluate the potential problems associ-

ated with international travel as well as the quality of medical care available at the destination and during transit. A pregnant woman is advised to travel with at least one companion; during her pregnancy, her

level of comfort may be adversely affected by traveling. YOUNG TRAVELERS Travelers who are less than 18 years old on

the departure date must be accompanied by an adult. Due to heightened security, many countries have adopted practices to prevent international abductions of children. If a child will be traveling with adults other than

the parents or with only one parent, it is recommended that a notarized letter be written by the parents or non-traveling parent granting authoriza-tion to travel including the dates of travel. We also suggest you contact

the appropriate consulate and airlines because they may have additional requirements. For the purposes of 206 Tours trips an infant is defined as

anyone who is under the age of 24 months for the entire duration of their trip. A child is defined as any one between the ages of 24 months-11 years for the entire duration of their trip.

SAFETY Please be aware that during your participation on tours operated by 206 Tours, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in undevel-

oped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft or other means of transportation; the forces of nature, political unrest and accident or illness

in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. 206 Tours does not have liability regarding provisions of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. 206 Tours is not responsi-

ble for compensation for cities/sites omitted from the itinerary due to circumstances beyond it's control. PHYSICALITY OF OUR TOURS Please note that almost all destina-

tions serviced by 206 Tours require physical fitness and a lot of walking,

sometimes up/or down the hills and at times very rough terrain. You may certainly stay behind for certain parts of the journey, however, it is

suggested that 3 to 4 weeks before your departure one should begin preparing physically begin walking "briskly" 1-2 times a day; build up to

2-3 miles with no discomfort. SERVICE INQUIRIES AFTER THE TRIP If upon returning from your trip, you wish to inquire about any services provided, please ensure

that all correspondence is received by 206 Tours, 333 Marcus Blvd - Hauppauge, NY 11788, within 45 days of the tour completion date. This will enable us to make a timely investigation.

TOUR CANCELLATION BY OPERATOR Be clearly advised that from time to time a tour departure may be cancelled due to lack of

participation. In such case, the operator's sole responsibility is to provide a full refund. 206 Tours in not responsible and does not assume responsi-bility for any additional costs or any fees relating to the issuance and /or

cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not made through 206 Tours. Cancellations due to state travel advisories and/or state travel warnings, Acts of War, War, Terrorism, Acts of God, Natural Disaster or

any other circumstance outside the control of 206 Tours, are not the fault of 206 Tours. Great effort will be made to accommodate traveler to

another trip or to revise itinerary, however, cancellation for any of these reasons will not be eligible for refund. PRINTING DISCLAIMER 206 Tours is not responsible for typo-
