To be environmentally friendly and cost effective, all plastic edging manufacturers use some amount of reprocessed or recycled material to produce their edging. As in all recycled material, the more a material is used, ground up and reused, material is used, ground up and reused, the compounds begin to wea the compounds begin to weaken and break down; therefore, reprocessed material can range greatly in quality. Oly-Ola is different because we are very selective of the repro-cessed material that goes into our edging products. In fact, the majority of our raw material comes from post-industrial plastics and is purchased from a consistent supplieis purchased from a consistent supplier. Oly-Ola knows what to expect and our expectations are high when it comes to choosing a material that will ultimately need to live up to our exceptional guarantee.

OUR EDGINGS ARE 100% GUARANTEED Our edgings are guaranteed for 15 years not to crack, rot, disintegrate, or self-destruct* from any weather conditions or manufac- turing defects. If this ever occurs, we will replace 100% of the damaged material and, unli and, unlike most other product guarantees, we will also cover any freight charges involved and pay a fair industry labor rate to reinstall the edging.

3. Drive the steel anchoring stake through both sections at a 45o angle toward the turf or outside portion of the bed.

Installation Guidelines

Edging

Dig a trench 5 inches deep along the lawn or bed edge. Place the edging in the trench and anchor it with stakes asindicated below. Use the provided connecting clip whenjoining two lengths of edging together and be sure to usethe the overlap method pictured below.

Staking

PPound a stake through the edging wall every 4 feet at a 45 degree angle. The stake should be installed at about the midway point of the wall. Pound the stake through the edging but be sure to leave 2 inches undriven to allow for resistance on both sides of the wall. Use extra stakes when securing joints and curves. Do not make the mistake of using too few stakes, especially when the ground is exposed to cold temperatures.

Slim-Edg is a combination of Super-Edg and Edg-King. Its low-profile top and grooved bottom offers superior frost heave resistance. This product was introduced as an alternative for customers who like the safety and function of our Poly roundtop edgings but were looking for a nearlyinvisible separation. Composed of the same high quality material, Slim-Edg offers rigid strength from top to bottom, with no sharp edges.
