Faye’s Life Mrs. Faye Dariel Quartey was born in Cartersville, Georgia on February 17, 1957. She was the beloved daughter of Charles Hill and Catherine Williams. She received her formal education in the Bartow County School System, graduating from Cartersville High School and continued her education in a higher learning facility. Faye received Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. As a child, she was always very neat and never got to hang out at the park or gym. She was so precious to her family, she was always kept close to home. Faye worked several jobs over her lifetime. She was employed at Grady Hospital in the OBGYN office as a Billing Clerk, and also worked for one of Georgia’s top Surgeons, Dr. Rogsberg Phillips – as they brought her in to organize their billing department. Faye worked for Metro Transit in Cincinnati, Ohio for a little while too. She was not afraid of work. Faye was a loving, giving and caring person. Later in life she rededicated her life back to Christ and was active in her church and community. She loved people and loved to visit everyone. She would go all day visiting from house to house. Some of Faye’s closest friends said she would wear you out visiting. She was a great cook. One of her favorite meals was sauerkraut and hotdogs, and her favorite hobby was to go shopping. Faye was a very interesting person. She would blow a kiss to any red birds that she would see from her porch for good luck. She loved to change the house around too. You could go to bed at night and wake up the next morning to the house being completely reorganized. Faye was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves her memories to be cherished her children and grandchildren, Kevin (LeSharn) Jones; Nasynia, Alyssa, and Jayden; Keith (Melissa†) Jones; Courtney and Stephen; and Mark (Misty) Perdue; Marshenique, Anesiah, Markeysia, Mark, Jr., and Gabriel; and a host of relatives, loved ones and friends.
