Absolutely NO TALKING during announcements, the pledge, the moment of silence, while the teacher is talking, etc.
When I raise my hand, I am trying to get the classes attention. Stop talking, raise your hand also, face me and listen.
Please do not interrupt during full class instruction time. Please wait until independent time to throw things away, ask to use the restroom, etc.
If you need a sharpened pencil, please raise your hand and I will bring a handheld pencil sharpener to you. The one on the wall is HORRIBLE!
Classroom Procedures
Each student will receive TWO bathroom passes per six weeks.
Have your passport filled out, your teacher assigned pass in hand and teacher permission/signature before leaving.
If you do not use your bathroom passes, they count two points each on a test at the end of the six weeks. This is a reward for those who are responsible and use the bathroom before or after class.
NO ONE LEAVES CLASS FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT THEIR PASSPORT SIGNED.
Wash your hands!!
Bathroom Policy
Each student begins the Six Weeks with a ZERO for participation.
It is your responsibility to participate EVERYDAY in order to get your points. You must participate on an average of THREE times a day to get your 100 points.
This is 15% of your overall average. Being involved, volunteering to answer questions,
asking good questions, being on task, etc will get you participation points.
You can LOSE points if you are hindering others from learning and participating.
Participation Policy
Ask for help. Schedule extra time for help. I am
flexible about coming in the mornings or staying in the afternoons but you must check with me first to be sure I will be here and not have a meeting, etc.
DO NOT JUST SHOW UP!
Need help? Not understanding?
Wednesdays are our assigned day in the foreign language lab.
We will begin and end class in the classroom.
All belongings will be left in the classroom. (LOCKED)

My goal= Everyone passes!
Set goals for yourself and do what’s necessary to meet those goals.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
