Pupils found out about Janica Kostelić:
Janica was born in Zagreb (January 5,1982), encouraged by her family At the age nine – began competing Season 1996/97 – won all 22 events she entered

Top junior titles – slalom and giant slalom 1998 – competed at the Olympic Winter Games (Nagano, Japan)
In 2001, 2003 and 2006 – the World Cup overall champion Winner of five World Championships gold medals and three Overall Alpine
Skiing World Cup titles. She has won - 30 World cup races
Winter Oympics in the 2002: won three gold medals and a silver (alpine skiing discipline ) no other female has ever won four medals at a single Olypmics
In 2003 – again World Cup overall title In 2004 – knee injury In 2006 – won the World Cup overall title for the third time
Unique person – incredible determination, courage and staff
Numerous injuries – couldn’t stop her in her dream
Difficult moments during her childhood
Despite the numerous training sessions, her school results were exemplary
