Mission To provide a safe and caring envi-ronment where we work together to be the best that we can be.
Vision The effectiveness of a school is determined on the basis of the con-duct, character, and achievement of its students. In an exemplary school, students: *Always strive to achieve their best. *Are encouraged in their learning. *Challenge themselves. *Celebrate successes of self and others *Become actively involved in the school and community. *Share responsibility for their learn-ing decisions and actions. *Make positive choices and take steps to solve problems. *Contribute to goal setting. *Conduct themselves in a way that contributes to a safe, orderly, positive school atmosphere. *Respect the rights of others.
Values In order to advance our shared vision of an exemplary school, we will: *Provide an inviting classroom envi-ronment for students. An environ-ment with clear expectations, con-sistent consequences, and specific, articulated, academic goals. *Help all students achieve the intend-ed outcomes of curriculum by ad-dressing their individual needs and learning styles. *Use methods of assessment that enable us to monitor the learning of individual students. *Collaborate with others and our stu-dents so that we can achieve our col-lective goals more efficiently. *Demonstrate our commitment to going on professional development and self-improvement as profession-als. *Promote a positive school environ-ment by modeling the qualities and characteristics that we hope to instill in our students. *Involve parents/guardians in the education of their children by keeping them informed of student progress and offering suggestions for assisting their children.
