    Outlook for August

    In summary, the Manhattan Beach real estate market trended rather consistent during the month of Julywith respect to June. While some performance indicators dropped slightly, such as total sales, mediandays to sell, and listings, other measurements improved, such as the median sales price and months ofinventory. The most glaring improvement, however, was the year-over-year median sales price, whichincreased 25.2% or $387,500.

    With this in mind, it is reasonable to assume the month of August will produce similar results givenmortgage money remains relatively cheap, housing inventories are competitive, and banks continue tomake loans to qualified buyers.
