  • Outlook for June

    May 2015 proved a positive continuation of month-to-month real estate trending behavior for the Manhattan

    Beach residential market. For example, double-digit improvements were recorded for total sales (16.1%),

    market median sales price (11.3%), and total listings (17.1%). In addition, year-over-year gains for the market

    median sales price jumped from $1.995M to $2.3375M which calculates out to a 17.2% improvement or, in

    dollars, a valuation increase exceeding $342K.

    My attitude for June activity is that buyers and sellers will continue to enjoy a healthy and mutually beneficial

    relationship as the cost of mortgage money remains at historical lows, despite rumors of the Fed raising

    interest rates slightly sometime this year.
