Summary Real estate activity in Manhattan Beach for the month of December was marginally encouraging as total sales climbed 22.7%

while the sales-listing ratio spiked 69.9%. Month-to-month metrics that moved in the opposite direction, however, included the

median sales price (-2.0%), the median days to sell (+43.6%), and net listings (-27.9%). The most notable year-over-year data point

for December is the median sales price, which climbed 24.6% or $438K.

In the news… According to C.A.R., “For 2015 as a whole, a preliminary figure of 407,060 single-family homes closed escrow in

California, up 6.4 percent from a revised 382,720 in 2014.”
