America so he is able to collaborate with other big artist. • Who do you want to target? • I want to target my audience for both genders male and female to create a larger

circulation. Aiming for the ages of 15+, teenagers and young adults so he will be realising that is suitable for these ages.

• How many records do you want to sell?• I want Allen Turner to sell around 100,000 records • What would make this a successful exercise? Keep your targets smart.• Specific: Is there a clear aim to be big in America • Measureable: How will you measure the effect? By the number of records being sold and

if the suitable audience like the type of music he is bring out • Achievable: Is it something that you can do? Yes this is something he can accomplish, as

the power of social media can get him there • Realistic: Is this something that would actually happen? This is something that will

happen if he keeps producing the right music that his audience will like • Time-related: Are there timescales for your project? Within the next few months he will be

producing his new album for summer called ‘In the city’ which will be ready to be released in summer.

AudienceWho is the audience for this band?Allen turner’s target audience is aimed for both Male and Female at the ages of 15 to 30. He will be releasing original content that will target a large verity of audiences. What Allen Turner audience will like about him is his come back and new music he will be releasing. Allen’s songs are up beat, energetic and heat warming ready for any occasion. Allen Turners audience are very in trend, wearing high street brands and they also like music such as Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Jason Marz and Drake. Which all of these artist match Allen turner in the type of music they produce as each of these artist produce some of the same emotion put portray it in a different way because of there lyrics which is what Allen Turner will be doing.

Media• What media will you use and why? Be specific about the platforms you will use. The platforms I will be using are social media, creating a Twitter, Facebook page which allows people to follow and keep updated with new albums being released, showing when he is on your. Furthermore fans are able to tweet him showing support. Another platform is Instagram and Snapchat, getting to know him more personally seeing his home life and what he is doing and is another way of the audience interacting with him. But these platforms may only be used by a younger audience, so I would want to create a print platform where he able to be seen for instance magazine posting posters of him in magazine article which gives more of an older audience to be able to get to read about him. He will also do interviews on chat shows, which allows the audience to see him on a different level and see him when he is not working and what he is really like. Last off all YouTube is most important because this allows people to listen to his music for free, allowing us to see likes/dislikes.• What magazines might they get in to? Specify types of magazine that Allen Turner may be seen in are Vibe, Billboard and acoustic. These are all music magazine, so they are not only just aimed at him allowing more of the public to find out about him. • What TV channels would they be on? He will be shown on four music where is music can be released, channel one • Which radio stations would play their music? He will be shown on Capital, radio 1 • Who would they give interviews to? He will be allows to get interviews with the Jonathon ross show, one show, The Graham Norton show and plenty more.

Media• Which forms of social media would you use and how would you use social media? Like I said previously, I will be using, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram broadening his name and who he is. This is not only aimed for this audience but other audience they may be interested in listening to his music. Having these media platforms anyone are able to see them making him more exposed to the word and giving them his talent. This gives them a clear form of communication • Be really specific here and plan the social media campaign. Consider the different

platforms available and how you would use them to reach your audience.Well to make this campaign known I think Facebook is a good way in which to spread the news as this allows all ages to see it for instance . Also it allows the audience to share and like the poster which then is instantly put on all the friends pages. Twitter- gives the public the chance to retweet and make the campaign known to there friends. Allows Adam to see his fan base when they are favouring his tweet and shows us if the statists are going up for his target audience Instagram - you're able to post pictures/videos which gives the audience a chance to interact with me a different way as this is more of his social side. Snapchat - I would say snapchat is like a live stream you are up today with whatever they are doing through the day, seeing where they are and what they are with. And because Snapchat is photo/video it a good say to promote the campaign as

MerchandiseWhat merchandise would you use to promote this band?For the merchandise I would design a t-shirt and hoodies allowing all genders to wear it, giving in different colours so the audience can chose there favourite colour making them more sellable. By having two choses for them to chose from show that the are aimed for both types of weather e.g summer and winter. Which these will only be limited on tour making them more valuable. Also it will have the dates and locations on where he has preformed. Using the same typography of his logo so it all types together and makes it look more professional. Designing posters giving them pictures especially designed only to be sold on the tour. Selling a range of different design so the audience can chose what they want and helps us to known what is most popular. Providing a Media pamfelt to public with information about the tour and the why the creation of this album and the meaning behind it. Wrist bands is a verity of colours, promoting him and the tour.

Manage the message• What is the message you want to communicate about this band?The message Allen turner want to show is passion through his writing and emotion to make his music have more of a meaning and understanding. Which makes it more relatable to the audience so they are able to understand it. His unique selling point is Allen Turner is that he will be releasing new and exciting music of his music producing new pop/acoustic music to the public. By providing them with different versions it makes him unique from other artist; he is doing this music solo. His music is about stories that have happened in his life, and what he is passionate about. • challenging established genre rules. • It could be a return to form from an older, more established artist. • You could choose to use quotes from critics.• You could foreground good feedback in your adverts or your social

media.

HyperboleEvery marketing and PR campaign uses hyperbole. Its role is to make things seem better than they really are by using exaggeration and emotive words or imagery. What are the words you will use? What words will help you sell and will appeal to your audience?

EventsWhat events would you put on as part of the promotion of this band and album?To promote Allen Turner, he will be releasing his albums not just in England but all around the world getting a larger circulation and income for him. This will allow us to see where he is best known and help us to improve on how to make him bigger. After knowing this I will be releasing tours, making the tickets easy to get and selling as a reasonable price for our target audience can buy, for instance princes from 25£ on wards. Appear at people tours on who he has collaborated with making his name and showing a different audience who he is and showing them his talent.He will also appear for signings, when his album is released he will appear at music stores where he can meet in fan one on one contact. Doing this will show that he cares about them and show them the real him behind all the fame. Presenting on TV shows to promote his album and so people are able to get to know him, this could show more of a mature and fun side to him.

Internal motivationThe motivation behind this project is to get Allen turner producing music he loves and for him to enjoy his job. And I think its important that he achieves his goal on going world wide making him a world wide sensation and showing people on what he feels strongly about and inspiring them. Another reason in why this album needs to be successful is because he had taken a few year out from work and wants to start again but, because music has change will he be able to produce the right music people are wanting to hear.

Motivation of mediaThe media would be interested in this project because of his new music and his come back. He would be releasing all new content to reach out to a larger audience to inspire and influence them. I think magazine labels would be interested in doing an interview and want to know why he is back and what music he will be releasing which he them would be able to promote he new album cover. For instance magazine like Q, Vibe, bill board and clash. All popular magazine where older big artist have been mentioned in them which will show that Allen turner is worth the read and suggest that he is as big as them.
