hatever is in a seed must produce after its own Wkind. For example, an

apple seed will produce an apple. An orange seed will produce an orange. Words are a powerful force and that force can be positive or negative. A situation can worsen when you speak negatively about it.

By the same token, when

A Minute With GodYour Words and Thoughts Have Power!!!

you speak positive words, your circumstances will change for the better. This is because words once spoken begin to direct your life in a certain and careful direction. If you have any doubt about how powerful words are, think about this for a moment; GOD created the heavens and the earth with WORDS and it started with thoughts. God's words were so powerful that they actually created everything.

Why is this important? Because you are made in the image and likeness of GOD (Genesis 1:26), which means you are a “speaking spirit” You possess creative power and can create your world with your words and thoughts.

Solomon wrote in Proverbs 18:21 that “death and life are in the power of the tongue.” The power of life and death can be seen in trials, where witnesses and judgescan speak words that might plainly determine whether a defendant lives or dies. Words have power to encourage, give hope and joy and have the power to discourage, to triggersadness and depression.

You must understand who you were created to be. Jesus said in

ngavumeli izitha zikugqibe usaphila, fana nembewu othi uma uyigqiba imile U

isingenye into ungaze hluleli wena ngokwakho. Neliseka ngalokhu

Matthew 12:37 by your words you will be justified or acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned. Paul wrote in Ephesian 4:29 “Let no corrupt talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen”. James 3:8 advises us on how hard it is to control the tongue: “No human being can tame the tongue.

It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. We must learn to yield our body's members, including our tongues, to the control of the Holy Spirit. He is the only One who can tame the tongue. Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips (Psalm 141:3).

What have you created with your words, life or death? Words can kill and words can give life. The Bible tells us that when a man guards his mouth and keeps his tongue, he keeps himself from trouble (Proverbs 21:23)Avoid using idle (useless, careless, empty)words..Jesus said, “I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every empty word they have spoken(Matthew 12:36). We are warned to make the best use of our words, because words express what is

in our hearts. “The mouth speaks what the heart is full of (Matthew 12:34).The fact that you will one day give an account for every idle, empty, careless word that should motivate you to choose your words wisely.

Taking control of your thoughts and words will help you to gain control over your life. Apostle Paul said, that your fight is not with flesh and blood but with powers and principalities (Ephesians 6:16). This can't be won with your hands but only with your mind and mouth.

Every battle is won or lost in the arena of your mind. One of the most heart-breaking stories of the Old Testament is told in Numbers when the Israelites disobeyed God by refusing to take possession of the land He had prepared for them. Because they saw themselves as small and weak – they believed in their own minds that they were as grasshoppers before giants – they were unable to fulfil God's call.

In the meantime, the same giants who themselves has been afraid of the children of Israel, were instead empowered because of the Israelites'fear. Again I say, every battle is won or lost in the arena of your mind and mouth.

Words and thoughts are seeds.

LOCAL MUNICIPALITY OF LEKWA

VACANCY

he Minister of Telecommunication and TPostal Services Siyabonga

Cwele met the Premier of Mpumalanga, David Mabuza and Members of the Provincial Executive Council to discuss SA Connect and how broadband can be used accelerate service delivery and improve the lives of communities in the province.

SA Connect is the country's broadband plan. Broadband is fast, reliable and always available internet. President Jacob Zuma

announced during his 2015 State Of The Nation Address that government will priorities the rollout of broadband in eight rural district municipalities. In Mpumalanga, the Gert Sibande District Municipality was identified.

Today's meeting discussed the alignment of the province's plans to SA Connect and ways to encourage the uptake and usage of technology. One of these options is to retrain and continuously train public servants in the effective use of the technological tools that are increasingly becoming available to them. The other is to introduce mass literacy programme among communities that would include introducing communities to smart devices.

The meeting resolved to establish a Provincial Broadband Steering Committee to coordinate all broadband initiatives in the province and cooperate in the conclusion of the high-level provincial broadband rollout plan.

“We are visiting the provinces that have been identified

for the rollout of broadband to ensure that we have proper coordination with all role players in the provinces to ensure that our planning is more accurate,” said Minister Cwele.

Premier Mabuza

committed the province to working closed with the Department.

“As a province, we are going to work with the office of the Minister. We will cooperate and find the best way in dealing

with this assignment,” said Premier Mabuza.

Minister Cwele added that Telkom will work with other State-Owned Companies and, where possible, the private sector to ensure a speedy connection government facilities to fast, reliable and always available internet.

“We are focused on bringing broadband infrastructure closer to the people to improve service delivery. International best practices show that it is only through government deliberate action, like rolling out fibre to all communities, that countries can use technology for socio-economic advancement,” said Minister Cwele.

Broadband rollout is central in government's efforts to move South Africa towards developing a dynamic and connected information society and a vibrant knowledge economy that is more inclusive and prosperous, as envisaged in the National Development Plan.

ert Sibande District Municipality has launched projects to assist G

Msukaligwa and Dipaleseng local municipalities in cleaning their financial systems in order to deliver better services to its communities.

The project, which will move to other municipalities within Gert Sibande District Municipality, starts in Msukaligwa and Dipaleseng communities.

Funding for these projects has been supplied by the Mpumalanga Provincial Treasury to employ local community members who will visit each stand in the municipal area to collect data with the aid of IDL GPS handheld

started in Cassim Park, from where it will move to Wesselton. It will then on to the whole of Ermelo and other towns in the area of jurisdiction.

The Dipaleseng project will start as soon as the field data capturers have been trained as from Monday, May 25, for a period of five days on how to capture the data of the households.

Thereafter, the project will start in Balfour and move to Siyathemba and to the other towns in the area of jurisdiction.

The community will notice that data captures are dressed in branded blue overalls - clearly marked DATA CAPTURER at the back, accompanied by Gert Sibande District Municipality logo on the front.

The data capturers will be moving around your residential area in the next couple of days/week/months. They are transported in mini bus taxis clearly marked with the District logo on the doors.

They will also have GSDM

local media and the promotion of media transformation, development and diversity,” she said.

Minister Muthambi was speaking at the glittering 2014 MDDA-Sanlam fifth Annual Local Media Awards at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, east of Johannesburg on Friday night.

The awards, co-sponsored and organised by the MDDA and Sanlam, celebrate and promote excellence in community media, including print, radio and television, and local media owned by the mainstream media, such as small commercial print.

The Minister said government’s interest in the media transformation process was aimed at ensuring the media sector

develops and transforms from within, in order to contribute to the broader development of society and the economy.

“We are of the view that an informed nation is an empowered nation; one that is able to make sense of conditions and the world around us and is able to be part of developing the solutions to the many challenges facing our country as well as our continent,” she said.

Support for community media Government remains committed to supporting community media.“As government we will not shy away from our responsibility. We know that there is a need for us to support community and local media, which if not supported through

government funding, will die a natural death.”

She said this would be detrimental to democracy because there would be an information gap.“My department will continue to support community media. We want to take you along as equal partners.” The Minister said the department will soon be embarking on a massive public awareness campaign on digital migration, which will require a local media partnership. The partnership would ensure that the process of digital migration is simplified and that all understand the benefits.

Record number of entries The award finalists were selected from some 800 entries - a record

number since the awards were established five years ago. The finale on Friday evening celebrated the overall winners.

The Best Community Station award went to Aganang FM from the North West Province. The Rantho Letsebe Award went to Zibonele FM from the Western Cape, a station established in 1993 in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, as a homemade radio station. The Print Journalist of the Year went to Andries van Zyl of the Zoutpansberger, based in Makhado in Limpopo.

Winner of the Hultzer Prize for Corporate Owned Paid Newspapers with a circulation of less than 10 000 went to Mpumalanga News.

In the Community and Small Commercial Print categories, awards for Photography went to Hugo Redelinghuys of the George Herald for Sport; Lazarus Dithagiso of the Sedibeng Ster for News; and Monique Dural of the People's Post for Features and Portraits.

For Writing, the award for Grassroots Hard News was awarded to Joseph Ramatamo Sehoai of Greater Alex Today; to Jabulani Jonk Mashamba, Greater Alex Today, for Grassroots Focus On People; Andries van Zyl, Zoutpansberger for Hard News; Dustin Wetedevich, Potch Herald for Investigative Reporting, Andries van Zyl, Zoutpansberger, for Focus on People: Human Interest; and Hugo Redelinghuys, George Herald, for Sport.

Winner in the Columns category was Sibusiso Biyela, Stanger Weekly and for Personal Finance was Thembakazi Mbobela, Your Money. The judges for the awards were drawn from leading media figures in the broadcast and print industry. Quality entries this year

MDDA acting CEO Duduzile Nchoba said it was very encouraging to see the use of South Africa’s indigenous languages in the broadcast entries received for this year’s awards.

“As the MDDA, this is a focal point in our efforts to nurture and grow media diversity, enabling our communities to tell their own stories in their own languages,” said Nchoba.

Sanlam’s Head of Group Communications, Ainsley Moos said: “The number and quality of the entries we received this year is testimony to the growth in stature the community media is enjoying.”

Many of the entries came from the remote corners of the country and entrants must be congratulated for the standards achieved, often in a very resource poor environment. – SAnews.gov.za

hen the day of Pentecost had come, they were all W

together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.

Divided tongues as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.

-The desciples of Jesus Christ (Apostles) They started to proclaim the Gospel expressing themselves in different languages.

Now here comes the interesting part: the Jews from every nation under heaven they were from: Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the districts of Libya near Cyrene, as well as travelers from Rome, both Jews and converts to Judaism, Cretans and Arabs, all these people heard this strange sound and they gathered together in a large crowed, but they were confused because each one heard them speaking in his own language.

This means everyone is responsible for his own life before God who has given it to him. This proves that, It is God alone who is the Master of life. We are obliged to accept life gratefully and preserve it for his honor and the salvation of our souls.

We are stewards, not owners, of the life of God. Through all this the grace of the Holy Spirit confers upon us the righteousness of God. The Christ uniting us by faith and baptism to the passion and resurrection, the Spirit gives us shares in his life.

Therefore “All Christians are called to the fullness of Christian life and to the perfection of charity”

If you believe and I believe and we together pray the Holy Spirit shall come down and Africa will be saved.

A GUIDE FOR START-UP BUSINESSES(PART 2)o you remember the quote last Dweek?: Market jargon "promotes

confusion, which leads to apathy, which leads to you not paying enough attention to … your money".The quote makes the link between our lack of knowledge (confusion) and a belief that

we can't quite control our money matters (apathy).

I'm not saying we can

control every cent of what we earn -- that's a completely different discussion and involves mentioning the taxman. And you don't need to know about the stock market to balance your budget and live within your means.

I think the quote points to why an investment isn't a priority. By joining this Start-up Investors group you have shown you want to make investing more

important in your life. But perhaps you need to do a little bit of re-organising (just a bit) to find the money to make an investment.

In a time of financial pressure, the things we need now squeeze savings towards the bottom of the expenses list, so savings become a "nice to have" rather than a "must have".

But can we find a level,

somewhere in our daily lives, at which we can say, "I'm in control here and I say yes or I say no." It could be a choice whether to buy or not to buy. It could be to select product A over B. To behave in one way and not another. It's here -- at this micro level -- where we can re-organise our spending.

ost of the time when we face trials we feel like Mgiving up.

When things are not going well we just want to hide. One thing that you should know is that people will always say something about you, so it is important to keep your head high so that they cannot really know what is going on with your life.

Some people do not like it when you try to do something good, when you try to improve your life, some will pretend as if they are helping you, but only to find that they are oppressing you.

Therefore it is very important to watch who you are speaking to. You might share your dreams with the wrong people, not everyone is happy with the fact that you are making a difference in your community, try your best to achieve your goals with the right people, do

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure “out everything on your own.

Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go. He's the one who will keep you on track.”

Trust is one of the most important pieces in all our relationships. Without trusting the person that you are with, we know that things will not work out. When that person tells you that they love you, you will not believe them because you just don't trust them. When that person asks you to work harder to make the relationship work, you tend to get angry and push them even further away because you just don't trust them.

We may not want to admit it now, but that's what we do to our Heavenly Father to. If you aren't able to trust in Him, you will find it very hard to believe Him when He says that He loves you. When He says that, “ Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations- that's what I had in mind for you.” – Jeremiah 1:5.We will not believe His promises because we just don't trust Him. If you trusted Him, then you wouldn't be allowing doubt and worry to control you. If you are tired of making choices out of fear, worry

you know that there is someone who would love to see you fail, lose your car, divorce, lose your house, lose your job, they just want to wake up in the morning and hope to hear bad news about you while some people will come and pretend as if they feel pity but they just want to know how far you have failed.

Life has its ups and downs but it does not mean that you will stay down forever , there are things that other people do not need to hear, rather put your trust in God than in man, he owns everything and he is a loving God.

Sometimes we get jealous of little things that lead us to have grudges and forget that God want to bless you as well. Concentrate on archiving your goals and you cannot do that on your own but with the spirit of the living God who will bless you as well , just thought I should tell it as it is.

and discomfort; then its time to start trusting in God again.

The Word of God says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing more of His Word! Isn't it funny how, the more good things you hear about someone, you end up trusting them; even if you haven't met them. We tend to shut people out when we don't really know them. That's where we need to start. We need to start seeking a personal relationship with God, our Father. It's very nice hearing other Christians sharing testimonies about Him every Sunday. It's nice knowing ABOUT Him, but then its even better knowing Him for yourself.

We have missed out on the very best in life, only because we have chosen to rely on what people around us think or suggest. We would actually come out better if we just took more time to seek our Father. This year, lets make it a priority to trust God even when our feelings tell us that it doesn't make sense. Trusting and waiting in God is never a waste of time. When you put all your trust in Him, He will help open your heart and eyes so that you can start making the right choices, especially at the right time.

I pray that you will start trusting more in Him, so that you may start noticing what His voice is like. His voice will be clear to you,

Stop delaying yourself. My brother or sister who is going through a difficult time walk tall and let your enemies wonder what happened because they have already drawn a dead line for you. They will come and confess and tell you how you were suppose to die.

Remember you do not belong to the world but to God alone and he love you so much.

Smile cause Jesus loves you

when you start spending more time in His Word. We all know how our friends chat when they type to us via WhatsApp. We know when they are typing and they are either sad or happy; we know that because we spend a lot of time with these people. So how can we expect to know God's voice, if we cannot make time for His word? There is so much life and hope in His Word. There is nothing new under the sun. Whatever situation you are facing, will have a scripture that handles it. All you need to do is sit down and search it.Let's draw closer to the Father this month!Have a blessed week!
