Mother’s Day Photos

Three happy Sunday School mothers: Yukari

Narashiba, Makoh Nii and Hitomi Paraso! Also

in photo is Izumi Miike next to Rev. Narashiba who

read a very interesting story of the lion, tiger and

mountain dog in Japanese and Rev. Nakano read the

English version.

Sunday School

honored their

mothers and all

women who attended

with red carnations.

The Intermediate

YBA treated every-

one to a delicious

lunch. THANK

YOU!

Jizosama:

Did you know

that when the Jizosama went

to Japan for

repairs to his

hand, there

were about 6

accidents on

the freeway

near Jodo Mis-sion of Hawaii.

And when the Jizosama

returned from

Japan, the acci-

dents ceased.

Interesting!

Hints at the Graveyard: Many peo-

ple visit their ancestors at the grave-

yards at O-Bon time. Sometimes they

have many graves to visit. If you go to

the grave and there are 2 flower con-

tainers and you just happen to have

enough flowers for one container,

which should you fill with flowers?

It has been suggested that you place

the flowers in the left flower holder and

leave the right flower holder face

down.
