Entrance Hymn Come let us bow down to Christ, As we worship Him, The Son of God. Save us, O Son of God, Who did rise from the dead, We sing to You: Alleluia.

Resurrectional Apolytikion (Plagal Three)

By Your Cross, O Lord, You destroyed death; To the thief You opened Paradise. The myrrh bearers' sorrow You transformed into joy, And You sent Your Apostles forth to proclaim That You had risen from the dead, Christ our God Bestowing on all the world Your great mercy.

Festal Apolytikia At Your Baptism in the Jordan, O Lord, The worship of the Trinity was made manifest, For the Father's voice bore You witness By calling You His beloved Son, And the Spirit in the form of a dove Confirmed the truth of the Father's Word. O Christ our God, You have appeared to us And enlightened the world, Glory to You.

Church Hymn (Troparion of Pentecost) Evlogitos i Hriste O Theos imon, O Pansofous tous aliis anadixas, Katapempsas aftis to Pnevma to ayion, Ke thi afton tin ikoumenin saginefsas, Filanthrope doxa Si. Blessed are You O Christ our God Who has shown the fishermen as wise men By sending down Your Holy Spirit upon them And through them, the whole world You drew into Your net O Lover of mankind, glory to You.

Kontakion You have revealed Yourself to the world today, And Your light shines forth on us who sing Your praise with full knowledge: You have come to us, O Lord; You are made manifest, O unapproachable Light.

After the Prayer of the Proskomidi I love you, O Lord my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my Savior.

EPISTLE READING: St. Paul's Letter to the Ephesians 4:7-13

BRETHREN, grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore it is said, "When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men." (in saying, "He ascended," what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is he who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

GOSPEL READING: The Gospel according to St. Matthew 4:12-17 At that time, Jesus heard that John had been arrested, He withdrew into Galilee; and leaving Nazareth He went and dwelt in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali, that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: "The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, toward the sea, across the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles, the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and for those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has dawned." From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

THE CONFESSION OF FAITH (Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed) I believe in one God, Father Almighty,

Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages;

Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not created, of one essence with the Father through

Whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven

and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man.

He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried; And He rose on the third day, according to the Scriptures.

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father; And He will come again with glory to judge the living and dead.

His kingdom shall have no end. And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Creator of life,

Who proceeds from the Father, Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified,

Who spoke through the prophets. In one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come. Amen.
