played on the 511 interactive voice response (IVR) system and shown as alerts on FL511.com.

– These messages are meant to be sent in tandem — for every floodgate message there should be a Web site banner message and vice versa.

– Floodgates/banner messages should be posted in English and Spanish. The District 2 Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC) will provide assistance with Spanish floodgates and banner messages in the event that a fluent Spanish speaker is not available in a District.
