FENATRAN - International Transport Industry Trade Fair- is the reference event as to the area of products and services for cargo transporters and logistic operators. With over 35 years of tradition, the fair promotes the closing of new deals and the dynamic exhibition of global launches intended to thousands of transportation sector professionals interested in closely knowing the latest trends for the segment Simultaneous to the exhibition, the Fenatran Experience is held at the Sambadrome in Anhembi. In an innovative and unusual way the main truck manufacturers put their products to the test in the hands of potential buyers. In its first edition, the automakers MAN, VOLVO, Mercedes Benz, Scania, International, Iveco and Sinutruck attended Fenatran Experience. Over 5,000 km were driven. 4,000 transportation professionals had a unique opportunity of taking a test drive in the most modern truck models in the market and decide on future acquisitions. The 19th edition of Fenatran (International Transport Show) which took place from October 28 to November 1 at the Anhembi expo pavilion, in São Paulo, welcomed a record number of people with 61,345 visitors / buyers during the five days of the expo, which represent around 10% of growth in relation to the previous edition. There were also record numbers of exhibitors and occupation, reaching 370 companies sharing a total area of 130,000 square meters. The event is an initiative of the NTC & Logística and Anfavea and is organized and promoted by Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado.
Fenatran 2013 established its place as the biggest trade show in the sector in Latin America
In addition, the Fair was the first of
showing all the news of the change
in vehicle power train technology to
meet the Euro 5 standard -
emissions standards for heavy
vehicles. In addition to having
consolidated this important factor,
the 19th edition had brand new
features, including electronically
managed braking systems, driver
attention controls, improvements to
cabin interiors, enhanced stability
and increased aerodynamic
efficiency.
All major manufacturers of heavy vehicles
prepared big news related to new
technologies, sustainability, and focus on
increased safety, comfort and reduce
operating costs. Among the brands present
were the biggest auto and engine makers,
such as Agrale, DAF, Fiat, Hyundai, Iveco,
MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Ford, Scania,
Metro-Schacman, International and Volvo.
The main implement manufacturers also took
part, such as Randon, Facchini, Noma,
Guerra, Pastre, Rossetti, Rodolinea, Librelato
and Rodofort; in addition to manufacturers of
lubricants, parts, accessories and fluids like
Alcoa, Chevron, Mobil, Shell, Texaco,
Ipiranga, Voith, Positron, Pirelli, Bridgestone
and Cummins. Itaú and Bradesco banks were
also at the Trade Show.

FENATRAN EXPERIENCE From October 28 to November 1
Sambódromo do Anhembi
In parallel to the expo, the Fenatran Experience took place at the
Sambódromo do Anhembi. More than 5,000 test drives were done.
The goal of the attraction was to bring visitors a unique experience in
testing the most modern models of trucks. Truckers were able to
drive, get answers to questions and see which trucks best fit their
needs, all in the same place.
*52% of participants said that the activity influenced their
truck purchasing decision.
At the 2013 edition, visitors were able to drive the biggest new launches from the following brands:
