Product registration in Russia• According to local legislation, every product for sale in the Russian Federation should be registered in the Russian Health Ministry• Registration procedure may take 2 to 6 months• Erkastom XXI may help in registration procedures• Manufacturers should only provide the necessary documents (see next slide)
Product registration in RussiaList of documents for registration of foreign medical products
1. Letter from Manufacturer - Should state your intention to register your products in Russia. Written on company’s cover letter in a native language (or English) with a Russian translation.
2. Letter of attorney from Manufacturer to the President of Erkastom XXI, authorizing him toperform tests and fulfill registration - Should be legalized in the country of Manufacturer (or apostyled if your country is a member
of the Hague convention of 1961 on Apostyles).
3. Application form - Written on the Applicant’s cover letter in Russian or with a Russian translation. With full detailed list of parts and
elements of the product to register.
4. Product outline - Includes short data on its purpose, main technical parameters as well as date of origin, date of production and markets of supply. Written on manufacturer’s cover letter in Russian or with a Russian translation.
5. Registration documents for home country and/or for other countries 6. Product certificate - With a complete list of all models to be registered. It may also be “a certificate of compliance”.
7. Certificates for production and quality control system by international standards (for example, ISO 9001:2000)8. Visual advertising materials 9. Manufacturer’s instructions on product use (in Russian)
Documents 2, 5, 6, 7 are presented in the original and should be legally authorized (or apostyled). All these documents should be legally translated into Russian and authorized in a Russia-based notary office.
