The remaining 39 members of other parties are unattached to either NDA or UPA and are likely to play an important role in the passage of the contentious legislation. Today's group led by V.K Datta and accompanied by Dharam Vir Gupta, Pt. Amar Nath, Aman Sharma, Ankur Sharma and Balwan Singh sat on Chain Dharna at SOS International Office at Bakshi Nagar, here. V.K Datta leveled serious charges against the successive governments for discrimination meted out to this most unprivi- leged community by not giving them the rights to live in a dig- nified way. "The BJP has betrayed us the most and the discrimination evinced by the Central Government with our displaced community has compelled us to teach lesson to the party in the forthcoming Assembly and Parliament elections by ensur- ing their defeat," he added. Datta said that those sitting at the helm of affairs today and teaching human values first see themselves how they have vio- lated our human rights for the last more than seven decades and more than three genera- tions are facing the heat and liv- ing in inhuman conditions because of discrimination with this community resulting in more than 80 per cent people living below poverty line and constrained to live hand to mouth but the government never talked about the welfare of this community. The play was a hard hitting satire on the socio-political situ- ation of the country and carried a very relevant message which was very well received by the audience. The play 'Zameen Ka Sawaal' opens in a trial room where a high level committee is enquir- ing about a very grim incident where five people at different locations were killed by sending letter-bombs. 'Ranganathan a very senior scientist is accused of master- minding the crime as all the evi- dence were against him. Initially he does not admit hav- ing involved in the crime but when given a false news that his only son is also killed in the same manner, he breaks and with a deep agony in the heart, he admits his crime which he had committed to take revenge from all those who were respon- sible for hurdles in his growth and promotion. Despite being the most out- standing and deserving scien- tist having dedicated entire life in research, he was denied his due recognition and promotion as it was granted to someone else who had a close proximity with the political hierarchy. This renders a harsh frustra- tion in his mind, he asserts that only hard work and ability will take you nowhere in this sys- tem, where corruption and favouritism are deep-rooted. The play very brilliantly says that those who do not have approach and recommendation may not be given higher posi- tions but it does not mean that they are not talented enough. Natrang's artists who per- formed in the play included Udit Sagar, Sushant Singh Charak, Brighu Sharma, Abhinav Sharma, Kuldeep Angral, Sumit Raina, Sameena Kousar, Aarti Devi and Shivam Sharma. Lights were executed by Neeraj Kant whereas the sound was operated by Manoj Kumar Lalotra. Mohd Yaseen coordinated the show and Ajay Lalotra did the presentations. On the last day of Festival of the year 2018, Apna Apna Dard will be presented at 5:30 PM at Natrang Studio Theatre, Jammu under the direction of Neeraj Kant. The play 'Zameen Ka Sawaal'opens in a trial room where ahigh level committee is enquir-ing about a very grim incidentwhere five people at differentlocations were killed by sendingletter-bombs.

Despite being the most out-standing and deserving scien-

tist having dedicated entire lifein research, he was denied hisdue recognition and promotionas it was granted to someoneelse who had a close proximitywith the political hierarchy. This renders a harsh frustra-tion in his mind, he asserts thatonly hard work and ability willtake you nowhere in this sys-

tem, where corruption andfavouritism are deep-rooted.

The play very brilliantly saysthat those who do not haveapproach and recommendationmay not be given higher posi-tions but it does not mean thatthey are not talented enough.
