It is brought to notice of general public at large that during the dry season , for-est are highly prone to forest fires. Hence, it is requested to general public and farm-ers residing in jurisdiction of Jammu Forest Division to help forest department in pre-venting and controlling fires. Further, by medium of this notice, general public ishereby made aware that setting up fire in forest is a punishable offence under sec-tion 6 (a), 13 (d) of J&K Forest Act.
