#LoveStory  –  A New Musical

Mark Oleszko  –  Music & Lyrics

Mark Oleszko is a New York City-based music director, pianist, composer, and educator. As a musicdirector, he has worked on several productions, most recently a full production of Rachel: A New

Musical  in the 2015 Fresh Fruit Festival at Wild Project. He has been attached to Rachel since its

developmental reading in the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival. As a pianist and/or accompanist,

he has performed at venues a range of New York venues including the Triad, Cathedral of St. John the

Divine, the United Nations, Theatre Row, and the West End Lounge, where he hosted and performed in

a monthly cabaret for upcoming talent. He is also currently an M.A. student at Teachers College,

Columbia University for Music Education. #LoveStory , for which he wrote music and lyrics, comes

directly from a mostly sold-out run at Theatre 80 St. Marks as part of the 2015 New York International

Fringe Festival!

Bethany Mayes –

 Book & Lyrics

Bethany Mayes is thrilled to begin her career as a playwright in New York City! Most of her work as a

writer has been as part of the developmental theatre company That Random Company, to which she

has contributed short scenes and an original act-play: The Fall of Man. She has also co-written the book

and lyrics for #LoveStory, which was given an encore performance in the 2015 New York International

Fringe Festival as a “FringeFAVE.” 

Sophie Frankle – Addl. Book

Sophie’s previous credits include: IT Awards 2014 (Live SM); ASM at Smithtown PAC, New Georges,

Happy Few Theatre Co., The Gallery Players, and The Hive; P.A. at The Mint Theatre; PSM at Two Beans,Brave New World Rep., and Randomly Specific Theatre Co. Sophie is a graduate of the Theatre &

Performance conservatory at SUNY Purchase.
