On behalf of the St. Martin Catholic Women’s League, thank you to everyone who worked to
make the sausage supper a success for the 58th year. One difference this year was our man on
the mic. After many years of service, Stan, your absence did not go unnoticed. Rest In Peace.
Thank you to the Heisler General Store for producing the fine sausage.
We are also grateful for the Community Centre Board who continue to maintain our venue, a
facility to be proud of.
Thank you to the people who made the sauerkraut, wrapped sausage, set up the Community
Centre, fried sausage, supplied requested food items, the new man on the mic, to the sellers of
supper tickets, raffle tickets and sausage. To the workers in the kitchen, the food handlers,
dish cleaners, servers and the final cleanup crew. A special thank you to the teenagers who
supplied some needed youthful vigor.
Once again thank you!! God Bless You

The Flagstaff Library Support Committee is celebrating thirty years of service to the libraries within the
County. The group was originally formed by several citizens of the County who wished to supply the libraries
with quality children's literature. The project was spearheaded by Judy Routledge. At present ,the Committee
meets three times a year and consists of representatives from the eight participating libraries, along with one
of the original members, Jackie Candlish, who continues to co-ordinate the program. During these exchanges,
eight kits are rotated throughout the libraries. There are approximately 1600 books that are constantly being
updated, multimedia material, and 100 DVDs in the system. Every four months, your Library receives a new
kit. These kits contain a delightful array of children's books and DVDs, and can be borrowed from the
library. This committee is unique to Western Canada, and we are very fortunate to have the County continue
to fund such a program. Make sure to visit your library and take advantage of such a wonderful program.
Thank you,
