Information about the Class

• If you complete the First Aid course requirements, you will be given a certification card in First Aid/CPR/AED for Schools and Community

This is also a half credit class.

Get to know you mixerOn the teacher’s cue, you will go find someone you don’t know , exchange names and tell each other something interesting about yourself. Examples may be hobbies, something you did exciting over the summer break, places you have visited, etc.

Continue on the teacher’s cue until you have met at least three people. Be prepared to share what you have learned about the people you met!

Grading Policy

• 50% =In class work/ participation/homework

• There will be an assigned power point presentation that will be factored in as 4 quizzes

• 25% = Quizzes

• 25% = Final

Homework/ In Class Policy

• You need to hand in your work when it is due.

• If you are late, I will give you ½ credit for the day after the assignment is due, after that it will be a 0, unless you are absent.
