    Woodworking Safety ClassesThese classes are offered every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Arts & Crafts Center. Learn the different tools, their uses in the woodshop and how to care for them.

    Framing ClassLooking to learn a new skill? Allow the Arts & Crafts Center to teach you how to build a frame from start to finish on August 23 and 24 at 5 p.m. Frame size up to 18 x 24. The class is $25 and covers all materials. Register no later than August 16 to take the class.

    Toddler DeskThis toddler desk is perfect for the little person in your life who needs his or her own space to color. The desk measures 14 wide, 22 tall and 21 long. Sign up to make your own on August 16 and 17 at 5 p.m. in the Arts & Crafts Center. The cost is $35. Call 213-7402 for more information or to sign up. Register no later than August 9.

    Emergency Services JeepCall the Auto Skills Center at 213-7508 during regular operating hours and they will send the Services Jeep to your rescue on base. They are ready to tow, fill a flat tire, give you a jump or take care of most minor car emergencies to get you on your way.

    Vehicle Resale LotRegister your vehicle at the Auto Skills Center, and for $4 per week, park it in the vehicle resale lot. Once the vehicle has been on the lot for four weeks, it must be removed for 30 days.

    Motorcycle Maintenance Class

    The class will cover the basics of preventive maintenance for your motorcycle. Take this class on August 4 at 5 p.m. at the Auto Skills Center to make sure your bike is in proper working condition. Be prepared

    for those spur of the moment weekend trips. Dont forget

    Maintenance ClassPreventive maintenance classes are conducted with the novice in mind. You do not need to be an automotive enthusiast to learn to protect your vehicle. The Auto Skills Center will cover ways for the do-it-yourself mechanic to prolong the operating life span of his or her car, have a safer operating vehicle and save money at the same time during this class on August 11 at 5 p.m. Preventive maintenance has long been proven as one of the most effective ways to reduce the cost of repairs and increase the vehicles operation life span. Fix at your convenience rather than it become your inconvenience. Call 213-7508 to sign up.

    Fun Summer Weekends Join millions of Americans on August 6 as you enjoy fun and games while setting a new world record for the most games bowled in a 24-hour period.     Equipment Rental has a 90-horsepower outboard motor ski boat with a 16-gallon fuel tank, running lights, fire extinguisher, under-seat storage, custom upho ls tery, boarding step, set of skis and life jackets for just $94 per day or $156 per weekend. Before renting a boat, drivers are required to take a safe boating test. Those renting a trailer boat should set up an appointment to review the towing vehicle for proper equipment. No boat hook-ups after 4 p.m.

    RV Sanitary Dump StationThe base has a free RV sanitary dump station located in the base park. Call the Equipment Rental office for more information at 213-7348.

    Reservation PolicyActive Duty personnel may make reservations up to 30 days in advance by putting down a deposit equal to one days fee. All other eligible patrons may come in 15 days prior to the date required and reserve items by paying a one-day rental charge. Deposit fees can be returned if a military commitment arises. Please visit the Equipment Rental office in Building 244 for a complete list of available items.

    Rent Our Ski Boat

    Get What You Need for Your Outdoor ActivitiesEquipment Rental has a wide assortment of camping, boating, fishing and sports equipment available at low rental rates. You can rent items like tents, sleeping bags, skis, life vests, ice chests and even golf clubs. Stop by the office or call 213-7348 for details. See Equipment Rental brochure for a complete listing of available items, charges and policies.

    Utility TrailerEquipment Rental has a new utility trailer available for rent. Come by Building 244 and check it out. It only costs $15 for a day or $25 for the whole weekend.
