IntroductionSince 1993, we have been designing and manufacturing unique statues, birdbaths, water features, benches, faces, planters and wall art for garden decoration.
We differentiate ourselves in that our designs are original; we hold the copyright for most of our products and they are only available through us.
Our line is retailed though independent garden centres, nurseries, home décor stores and gift stores with gardening accents.
New products are designed on an ongoing basis and introduced via email newsletter (please ensure you are on our email list). A printed catalogue is also available with annual inserts featuring the latest products.

Once registered, you can add and subtract pieces to and from an order, place test orders and view your purchasing history. By ordering online you will always have access to our newest pieces (we add them all the time). Don’t worry about making a mistake – we confirm all orders before we process them.
Pieces are made from a proprietary blend of a high performing concrete, have unique weather resistant finishes applied and are sealed with an acrylic sealer. We have two methods of manufacture; casting where concrete is poured into molds and vibrated and a unique lay-up technique that results in a thinner piece weighing less.
All products can stay outside year round, although birdbath bowls and other items that collect water, may crack when exposed to the freeze-thaw cycle and should be drained, turned upside down or otherwise protected.
For general maintenance, we recommend cleaning with warm soapy water and a sponge. A clear acrylic sealer can be reapplied if desired although this is not essential. ‘Touch up’ kits are included with every order for minor scrapes and repairs.

• Retailer locator feature on our website. We also refer direct inquiries to their nearest store.
• High/low resolution images are available for in-house signage/promotion material and advertising use.
• Extra catalogues are available for retail display.
• Pricing labels for catalogues are available in three pricing formats; wholesale, manufacturer suggested retail or custom retail. These are printed in catalogue order for ease of use.
• Barcodes are available by email (unfortunately we are unable to offer barcode and pricing labels for the products).
• Current best-seller list.
• Instructional videos about care, maintenance and repair of our products are posted online.
• Limited two year warranty against defective product.
Merchandising Guidelines Here are some merchandising tips that we have found work well:
• Group the Castart Studios line.
• Group by theme.
• Create small vignettes with complementary merchandise.
• Greenery, greenery, greenery! Try to help the customer picture the piece in their garden.
• Display on multiple levels. We find construction cinder blocks and wood work well for support.
• Use a large piece as a focal point and build the display around this.
• Keep a backup inventory of hot selling items and take orders for larger pieces, so the display can be kept intact.
• Take photos of a successful display, this helps with re-ordering and for designing future displays.
• Fountains won’t sell unless they are running and benches won’t sell unless people can sit on them.
• If an item sits for a while without selling, try moving it to a different location.
• Keep any display safe for small children.

Green EffortsWe use recycled packing material, boxes (when available) and pallets. We re-use waste water from the staining process; this is incorporated back into the concrete mix and thus kept out of the environment. Broken pieces are crushed and used as road-base. Paper, plastic, glass and metals go into the local recycling program. We don’t pretend to be perfect, but we do what we can to mitigate our impact on the environment.
