NST General

1. How/Where did you find this application?

I found it on AIESEC International's Newsletter.

2. Rwanda is a very small and yet a comparatively unknown entity. Sum up in 3-5 sentences

why you want to be part of our team!

I want to be a part of your team because I belong to an Official Extension and I feel identify with not

being known worldwide, my LC is starting and I love being part of that process so I would love being

part of the growth process of AIESEC Rwanda as well.

3. Give us a statement of a max. of 5 sentences of how this NST experience can be valuable

for your future (AIESEC) working way?

This experience could help to develop myself to the maximum and it would help me to embrace my

design habilities as a member of my area and my LC. It will also be pretty great to me because it

would make my global vision bigger and it would show me the AIESEC reality of other country. It would

make me more responsible, and would embrace my organizational habilities and the skills to manage

my time. It would give me more experience that I could use to become a LCVP in the next term '13

'14.

NST Specific – Graphic Design

!

1. How does your past engagement qualify you for this position? Do list more of the

experience you gained out than the positions you had. (max. 5 sentences)

Ive been OCVP COMM twice and ive been in charge of the image of the conference or campaign, Im in

the Communications and IM area of my LC so I have the experience that qualifies me to develop

myself in this position to the maximum. I study graphic design which means that I live designing

everyday of my life.

2. You are about to create the logo for AIESEC Rwanda. What should it represent for you?

First I have the personal believe that a logo should be simple but special, since is something that has

to be easy to remember but at the same time it has to be attrative to the eye of the beholder. Second

a logo without meaning is not logo at all so I would try to collect experiences and the meaning of

AIESEC Rwanda and use my graphic and ilustrative habilities to print that Rwanda escence in the logo

that would represent this country in the AIESEC family. And 3rd personally to me would have to mean

effort, perseverance, global vision, diversity and of course I would try to align it to the values of the

country and the AIESEC values as well.

3. Please showcase your skills and design either a T-Shirt, braclet or promotion flyer (for an

upcoming recruitment campaign) and attach the draft (jpg or pdf format) to your

challenge.

Forever young.

Page 14: AIESEC RWANDA NST APPLICATION

The youth is something slightly temporary that many of us have when we are young. Of course here I refer to a youth that wont need of age or time but spirit.

This strength transcends our bodies and connects with our souls. And this strength my friends can make us unstoppable.

When you are young in spirit you are filled with potential, hope, ambition, motivation and expectations.I remember someday I read somewhere that we are born as

artists but when we grow into ‘’ mature ‘’ human beings we lose that art essence which we where born with. The real success in life to me is to be artists despite our age or time,

the real success in life to me is to be forever young. We should embrace our abilities, explore our inner selves to become one,

to become everyone, to merge our possibilities, to forget our failures and to realize we didn’t fell we just learned a lesson.

We have to stop being scared of dreaming because if we do not dream we could never pursue our goals.

So lets just learn of each other and join the world to start living everyday of our lives as it if was our last day on earth.

Forever young.
