Performed duties as an aircraft lead mechanic in the Refurb center at Edwards and Associates. Refurb is a combination of Maintenance, kit installations, sheet metal and all around rebuild from nose to tail.
Responsibilities included organizing and completing job tasks, paperwork and making sure aircraft delivery was kept on schedule. Required to perform any structural repairs and fabrications in accordance with SRM and Blue Prints, or engineering documentation. Was responsible to communicate and help with inspections along with quality control. Had to coordinate with engineering on repairs that were not covered by the SRM. Fabricated and installed major structural and mechanical modifications all in accordance with blue print, AD, Eos, etc…

Performed major/minor repairs and modifications/fabrications on Boeing Vertol 234, and Boeing Vertol 107 helicopters in accordance with Boeing SRM, Blue prints, and engineering documentation. Performed inspections and repairs in the field in accordance with Boeing SRM and MM. Coordinated with engineering and quality assurance to create work instructions and blue prints for special modifications. During the summer months (fire season), Columbia Helicopters Inc. is an authority in heavy aircraft fire support for the forest service. I would travel with the aircrafts and their crews to various locations such as: New Zealand, South America, Canada, and all over the USA.

Performed C & D checks, modifications, fabrications, and repairs on Boeing 727, 737, 757, 767, A320, MD80 all in accordance with Blue Prints, SRM, MM, routine and non-routine job cards, and engineering documentation. This consisted of minor and major repairs and modifications such as belly skin and crown skin changes, frame repairs, stringer repairs, standard skin repairs, cargo bay door repairs. Performed 727 engine Hush Mod to the FedEx fleet of 727 by year 2000.
