OBJECTIVE
Seeking for a managerial position in Project Engineering or Work Package Management, involving leading- edge technologies, ideally in Modeling and Simulation (M&S).
CURRENT POSITION
I came back one year ago from the United Arab Emirates, where I spent three years working for the development of a leading-edge and very challenging C4ISR project. I am now running projects as a technical manager for Airbus DS, in the department “advanced concepts and simulation”.
QUALIFICATIONS
Over 12 years of experience in M&S engineering with a Master Degree in Software Engineering and a Master Degree in Physics. Project Management Skills to understand customer needs, specify a solution and manage its definition, development, test, integration, validation and deployment, with a technical Background to lead and support any of the underlying engineering activities.

Airbus DS - FranceE April 2013 – presentM&S Manager – Work Package Manager
Performed mixed activities including project management and technical management activities in system engineering.
Developed standards and solutions for the connection of C2 systems with constructive simulations. Participated in international standardization works and experiments, in particular, participated in two NATO Modelling and Simulation Group (MSG-085 and MSG-106) from the NATO Science and Technology Organization and a French German technical cooperation (COMELEC).
Emiraje Systems – Cassidian/EAI Joint-Venture - UAE March 2011 – April 2013M&S Manager – Work Package Manager
Managed a 10M USD worth work package for running experiments, with a Concept Development & Experimentation engineering strategy (CD&E), for the System Design Definition of a C4ISR project for the Brigade and above levels of the UAE Armed forces. The experiments consisted of evaluations, technical and operational assessments, and demonstrations of candidate products to be considered in the design of the final solution.
Performed a definition study of a Joint Battle Lab for operations preparation and decision support for a Joint Operations Center.
Managed all the M&S activities for the System Engineering department. Specified and designed a demonstration environment for the technologies and products to be considered in the design of the solution.
EADS/Cassidian - France June 2009 – March 2011Project Manager - M&S Engineer
Managed a 1M EUR worth project for the French MoD / Procurement Agency (DGA). The LAURIA project consisted of running experiments for the evaluation of information exchanges between command and control systems and simulation systems and for the evaluation of the Coalition Battle Management language (CBML).
Within the System Design Center, ran several technical experiments with APLET (French- German cooperation COMELEC, cooperation with the UK Defense Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL))
Represented the French Nation in the NATO Modeling and Simulation Group 085 “Standardization for C2-Simulation Interoperation”, Science and Technology organization (STO formerly RTO)

EADS/Cassidian - France January 2007 - June 2009Project Manager - Technical Lead - Software Engineer
Managed a 1M EUR worth project for the DGA, lead and contributed to software specification, design, developments, tests, integration, validation and acceptance of a land simulation used for Course of Action analysis and decision support for Brigade planning officers. The “APLET update” project consisted of re-engineering the architecture, and adding functionalities and capabilities.
Lead operational evaluation of the product in two fielded experiments– one in a brigade Head Quarters, the other one in a battalion Command Post.
EADS/Cassidian - France June 2005 - January 2007Project Manager – Technical Lead - Software Engineer
Managed a 1M EUR worth project for the DGA and lead a development team. The CACEUR project was a technical-operational study whose purpose was for the modeling and simulation of violence and violence-actors in urban theatres. This study included the software specification, design, development, test, integration, validation and acceptance of a simulation capable of generating “violent events”. Used Eclipse, Google Web toolkit, JAVA, SVN, Hudson, Sonatype Nexus.
EADS/Cassidian - France June 2002 – June 2005Software engineer
Contributed as part of a software development team to design and develop several simulation applications (land simulation APLET, naval simulation ORQUE) and two simulation frameworks (SIMKIT (Simulation toolkit) and S2F (Simulation Software Factory)). Used Visual Studio, Eclipse, Rational Rose modeler, C++, JAVA, CVS and SVN.
EADS/Defense and Security - France June 2000 – June 2002Software engineer
Designed and developed C++ CSCIs for the French Intel satellite HELIOS II ground segment. Based on a Model Driven Engineering strategy, developed Rational Rose modules for code generation. Used Visual Studio, CVS and Clear case in an UNIX environment.
Dassault Avions - France 6 months from June 1998 to June 2000Internship - Software engineer
Developed miscellaneous applications and one appliance driver for avionic parts production and a help desk management system. Used C++, Natstar, perl, VBA.
