IELI STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Peter Pan LIVE! IELI is heading to the Threesixty Theatre to see Peter Pan! The actors will perform in dazzling flying sequences forty feet in the air! Fly to Neverland in a whole new way with this spectacular live stage production on Thursday, November 12, from 5:00—10:00 PM. Sign up for your ticket in MARQ 202 by Wednesday, November 11.
Dallas Stars Hockey Game Join IELI as we head out to watch a professional game of ice hockey on Saturday, November 14. Ice hockey is a team sport, much like soccer, that is played on ice. Players use hockey sticks to hit a puck into the other team’s net to score points. If you would like to attend with IELI, sign up in Jessalyn’s office in MARQ 202 by Friday, November 13.
Coffee and Culture Discussion Group Coffee & Culture gives you an opportunity to practice your English skills with American students. There will be coffee and snacks. This is a good way to make new friends, have fun, and practice your English. You do not need to sign up. Coffee & Culture will be every Thursday, 5:00—6:00 PM in MARQ 215.

Class Photos
On Monday, November 16, there will be class photos for all Writing classes. Be sure to dress to impress and bring your biggest smile! The class with the funniest photo will be featured in the Weekly Memo!
TB Testing All new Fall II international students are required to be screened for tuberculosis after beginning classes at UNT/IELI.
You must complete a TB test by Thursday, November 12. TB testing will be available Monday, November 2 – Thursday, November 12. Please call 940-565-2333 and press option 2 to set up an appointment. When you go to the Health Center, you must bring three forms with you:
TB Screening Record Medical History Form TB Screening Form
You should have received these forms at orientation. If you need extra copies of the forms, visit MARQ 202.
TOEFL Test The TOEFL will be given during Week 5 on Friday, November 20, from 8:20 AM—12:30 PM. The following levels may sign up in the IELI Main Office (MARQ 145) during these times: Levels 6/6: November 9-13 (Week 4) Cost: Free Levels 5/5, 5/6: November 16-19 (Week 5) Cost: $32.00
“Phishing” Email “Phishing” is a term used to describe emails that are trying to steal your information. There is an email being sent right now that is asking for your UNT password and other sensitive information. UNT will never ask for this information through an email.
DO NOT RESPOND TO THESE EMAILS! If you receive one of these emails, you can forward it to [email protected] and/or delete it.
