It is a Ɵme for students in Levels 0-2 to meet with Americans, make new friends, have fun, and pracƟce your English! The last ConversaƟon Hour for Spring II term will be Monday, April 28, from 4:00 5:00pm The last ConversaƟon Lunch for Spring II term will be Wednesday, April 30, from 12:00 1:00pm In SYMR 260 Please return any items you checked out from the IELI Lab (ex: movies, books, test preparaƟon materials) by Friday, May 2 at 5:00 pm If you do not return your items to the Lab, you WILL HAVE TO PAY A FEE. There will also be a hold on your account and you will not be able to aƩend any future classes at IELI unƟl the fee is paid to Alissa in Sycamore 205. The cost for unreturned books is $10. The cost for unreturned movies is $20. The cost for unreturned test materials is $30. Summer tuiƟon payment of $2,964.50 is due by 3:00 pm on Friday, May 9. A late fee of $50 will be added to your account if payment is not made before 3:00 pm on Friday, May 9. If you would like to sign up for a Payment Plan, you MUST go to Alissa in SYMR 205 to sign up for an installment agreement BEFORE May 9. There will be NO May mini term before Summer. A speaker from the UNT College of Merchandising, Hospitality , and Tourism will come to share all about what their program has to oer. Come with your lunch and be ready to learn! Hey IELI ladies! Our next ladies group is  going to be a cooking class! Come share awesome recipes and learn to cook with American students! 

When: April 30 from 5:30—7:30 pm  

Where: Crumley Hall Kitchen   

 

Meet us  by the Eagle Statue outside of SYMR at 5:15.

Hadeel Alzuwaydi has been a student at IELI for three terms. She started IELI in the Fall II 2013 term 

at Level 2 Wri ng and Level 3 Communica on. She  was nominated by five of her teachers for her 

outstanding performance in the classroom. 

Daniel Buller has this to say, “Hadeel was in my Communica ons class, and she was an excellent 

student. She always had a posi ve a tude and lightened the mood in the room. She worked hard 

and encouraged others to also work hard.”  

She is currently a ending Barbara Jones’ class, who says, “I think she is great! She is always well 

prepared and completely engaged in whatever we are doing in class. She is very cheerful too!”  

Beth Ma hews agrees, sta ng that she is “very par cipatory in class and in IELI ac vi es.”

IELI Gradua on ‐ Friday, May 9, 11:30 

am ‐ 1:00 pm in the Gateway Center 

Ballroom. Sea ng begins at 11:00 am, and 

the ceremony will begin at 11:30 am. 

Refreshments will be served a er the 

ceremony. Celebrate with your friends! 

Remember to dress up for this special occasion! Gradua ng 

Level 6 and Pre‐MBA students must arrive at 11:00 am to 

par cipate in the ceremony.
