    Denton Water Works Park Friday, June 10, 5:308 p.m. Cool off from this summer heat at thepool! Sign up in SYMR 214 if you would like to attend this trip. Meet at the corner of Ave. B and Mulber-ry St., outside the GAB, at 5:30 p.m. to ride the bus.

    Welcome Party Monday, June 13, from 11:45 a.m. 1 p.m.,in the Unions Silver Eagle Suite. Come celebrate the new term withgames, pizza, and prizes! The class schedule will be adjusted on Monday for the party(see box at right).

    Six Flags Saturday, June 18, from 9 a.m. 6 p.m. Six Flags is an amuse-ment park with roller coasters and rides, so don't miss out! Sign up in SYMR 214 if you would like to at-tend. Cost is $10, cash or check. Meet at the corner of Ave. B. and Mulberry St., outside the GAB, to ridethe bus.

    1. New IELI students in levels 4, 5, and 6 should attend Lab Orientation on Fri-day, June 10th. New students will receive a Lab Orientation Sheet in theirCommunication class that will have their scheduled time for orientation.

    2. Extra Resources for Practicing Grammar, Listening, Reading, Spelling, Vo-cabulary, etc. can be found at the IELI website at www.ieli.unt.edu. Ask inthe IELI Lab (SYMR 224) if you would like help usingthe website.

    You MUST keep an up-to-date address on file with UNT forimmigration purposes. To update your address, go tohttp://www.my.unt.edu and log-in with your EUID and pass-word. If you need help updating your address, you can go to theIELI Main Office and fill out a blue Address Maintenanceform (SYMR 211).

    In your MyUNT account, you must list pro-vide an address in the United States for yourmailing address. This is IMPORTANT!

    Outdoor Movie in the Park Thursday, June 9, 9 p.m.,at Quakertown Park (by the Denton Civic Center). Come

    for a free screening of the movieMegamind. Bring blankets and chairs tosit on while you enjoy a movie night underthe stars.

    Canoe Trip on the Trinity River Sunday, June 26. If you would like tolearn how to canoe, sign up for this daytrip at the Pohl Recreation Center before

    June 20. Cost is $8.

    Attention all NEW Summer term students:

    All new international students are required to be screened for tuberculosis after beginning classes atUNT. ALL new students must make an appointment at the Health Center between June 20 and

    June 30 to have the TB screening done.

    ***To schedule an appointment, call 940-565-2333, press option 2, and say you want toschedule a TB appointment.***

    When you go to the Health Center, you must bring three forms with you: the TB Screening Record,Medical History Form, and TB Screening Form. You should have filled out the forms at orientation. They must be filled out us-ing black ink. Extra copies of the medical forms are available in the Student Counselors office, SYMR 214. If you have ques-tions, you can speak to someone in SYMR 214. Students who do not complete the screening by June 30 will be taken out of classto go to the Health Center. They will receive an absence for the class that they miss to do this.

    Bus schedulesUNT buses run on limited schedules in the summer term. Bus service ends at 5:30 p.m. and onlyoperates Monday through Thursday. However, the Discovery Park route operates on Fridays. If you ride the bus,please check the summer schedule online at: http://www.unt.edu/transit.

    DormsIf you plan to live in the UNT dorms during the Fall semester, you must apply at:http://www.unt.edu/housing. Even if you live in a dorm this summer, you must reapply for the fall. Youwill not be able to stay in your room without filling out the housing application again and paying a de-posit. If you have not applied already, you should do so right away. Housing is filling up quickly.

    There is now a meditation room available forstudents to use on campus. The meditationroom is in Wooten Hall, room 310. It is open formeditation from June 6 to July 29, from 1 2p.m., and 4 5:30 p.m.
