CS1000/3000 works on Windows XP.– The world-first Windows XP compliant

system.

CS1000/3000 can work also on Windows2000.– If you would like to use CS1000/3000 on the

latest Windows technology, please adopt Windows XP.

– If you have already been using CS1000/3000 with R3.01 or R3.02, you can do revision up to R3.03 without changing OS from Windows2000.

How to realize remote HMI solutions?

Remote Desktop function, one of Windows XP standard functions, enables to realize these solutions.– The screen image of a PC is displayed on

the other PCs, connected on Ethernet.– You can operate (mouse/keyboard) a

remote PC from the other PC connected on Ethernet.

No extra software, no 3’rd party software is needed.

Restrictions of Remote Desktop

Caused by the specification of Windows XP, there are some restrictions as below.– Only one Client can connect to one server at the same

time.– USB port is not supported. – Display resolution is recommended to be more than

800 x 600.– Yokogawa’s Operator keyboard is not supported.– Option sound board for alarm is not supported.– Standard buzzer of PC for alarm can be used.

Data refresh period is not deterministic.– In case of LAN, you may feel little slow refreshment.– In case of the access with analog modem, screen

refresh may needs about a few seconds.
