MAKinG A diFFerenCeIn the last decade, tens of thousands of donors have contributed millions of dollars to keep the y open to all through the Planting Seeds of hope Annual Support Campaign. Children have been safe in our after-school care rather than going home to an empty house. teens learned about teamwork and personal discipline through sports and community service. Adults caught in generational poverty or newly unemployed stayed healthy at the y thanks to these generous donations. older adults grew younger as they worked out, took field trips or caught up with friends over coffee. generous donors have made more than 4,100 gifts to put us on track to reach our goal of $2.88 million dollars in 2010.

thank you to everyone who helped a neighbor in need through Planting Seeds of hope.

to better reflect our cause, the annual giving campaign name will be changed to Strengthening Communities fund in 2011. We are excited that raymond E. moore will be the campaign chairman. the names and faces have changed but the mission remains the same, as does the need for individuals who want to make a difference in another’s life.
