Title Page – All group member names, class, date of completion, title, school name

Table of Contents – All group member pieces with names and page numbers

Paper Outline – An outline of all major chapters/sections

Chapters/Sections – Each group member’s contribution to the paper

Annotated Bibliography – One annotated bibliography of all sources used. There should be anywhere from 6-10 sources depending on the number of people in your group.

Each paper should contain the following sections:

History/Politics – A detailed analysis of the historical events and people that shaped your country. Also, an analysis of the political structure, parties and movements (wars etc) that have occurred and are occurring in your country.

Economy – A detailed analysis of the economic factors that strengthen or weaken your country. Consider natural resources, exportation and imports, education/literacy levels, and average household income.

Social Customs – An analysis of religious practices, languages, racial make-up, colonial influences, art, dress (clothing) and foods native to your country.

Social Problems – A description of current social problems and their causes. This may include diseases, economic problems, tribal issues, civil wars, famine etc.

Journalism Review – A review of two to three current news articles. Formulate a thesis that answers the following question, “_____________is/is not a developing (third world) nation because…” based on your article findings.

Present a PhotoStory that summarizes your findings:

Each group member should find 2-3 images and create at least 2-3 slides worth of information that summarizes their part of the research paper.

Papers received after May 18th will have a letter grade deducted for each day late.

Presentations are May 19th, 20th and 21st. Please don’t be absent and let your group down.
