Greetings Parents and Students,

We pray that you are all walking in God’s blessings and favor this school year. We know this time can be extra busy with exams and the Christmas season coming upon us.

We are moving forward with God’s plan and purpose for Burn Student Ministries. The first is starting and establishing our very own Summer Camp. We are in the middle of planning stages for the camp called “Surge Encounter” next June. Keep us in prayer as we continue to work out the details. Second is our Project Serve. Things have been going great but there are still some needs available. We want to give you as a student and parent the opportunity to be a part of this great outreach. It is an outreach that is positioning us a a youth ministry into our school system to dramatically influence towards Christ. It gives us a strong presence in the schools. We have signup sheets at the NCC Welcome Center for you as a parent and student to signup. Once you signup you will be assigned a job position to come and work at an athletic event. While there you will be given the chance to serve and be a “walking billboard” of our church and Christ. The future is VERY bright!

I will leave you with this powerful verse from

MATTHEW 5:16 “ LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE MEN THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS AND GLORIFY YOUR FAITHER IN HEAVEN.”

God has opened a great door and positioned us in our community for such a time as this!

Current/Upcoming Sermon Topics:

For the Winter we will continue to be dividing up in our groups for Squad Wars after the message. We will be going through a series on being led, social media, as well as ABCs of Faith.

Vision: Burn Student Ministry vision is here for students to experience and know God like never before. Our Vision is to see the youth of this generation radically transformed by the power of God. Joel 2:28-AMP-And afterward I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

Regular Service Nights/Times:

Every Wednesday the students will get a rockin’ youth service encountering God through His Word and the Holy Spirit.

6:30 pm - Doors open 6:30 - 7:00 pm - Hangout time 9:00 pm - Doors close (unless Holy Spirit directs otherwise). Closing Services: Parents or Legal Guardians we ask that you help us by making arrangements for pickup around 8:30pm.

Other Special Services:

1st and 3rd Wednesdays - Squad Wars Discussions (September-May): Squad discussions on teachings with breakouts and prayer. Short 15 minute message.

1st and 3rd Wednesdays - MS/HS Split off Discussions (June-August): MS/HS discussions on teachings with breakouts and prayer. Short 15 minute message.

2nd and even 4th Wednesdays - Full service with Worship and Message but mini-squad breakouts: Just a 5-10 minute squad breakout to take attendance, pray, and announcements. 25-30 minute message.

4th Wednesdays Odd Months - Squad Wars competitions night (no worship): Each squad has competitions for points. At end of night mini-altar call given.

5th Wednesdays - Epic Worship Nights: A full night of worship where Heaven touches Earth.
