Highschool Graduation In 2010, I graduated from high school in Vietnam. Highschool had taught me to be a responsible person. During the time I was in highschool, I had learned all kind of knowledge about mathematic in finance, business, etc. Furthermore, I also joined many useful volunteer events, which helped me gain knowledge of teamwork and organize information as well as creating activities during the events. Learning to pursue my career in MarketingStudying at Centennial College is a great opportunity for me to build my specialty and interpersonal skills. Moreover, It has given me a chance to meet my marvellous Marketing professor- James Quance.During his lectures, I’ve learned and analyzed the importance of a focus on the customer and the management of the product, price, distribution and promotion strategies within a dynamic business environment., which help me prepare for my future career.

In 2013, I attended a special events which had been hold for Vietnamese and Korean students by Centennial College. In order to prepare for this events, as an assistant event planer, my tasks were developing a performance which was about Vietnamese culture and Canadian culture as well as making a schedule, so that our Vietnamese students can practice carefully to perform on the event.

The Importance of Teamwork

At Centennial College, Teamwork is one of the significant skills that I have learned. In my third semester, my International Business professor assigned us as a group to undertake a Stakeholder Analysis of Apple Inc.

In order to finish this project, our group have discussed and allocated specific tasks for each members. Moreover, Being a Leader of this group project, my duties are not only bringing magnificent ideas to share with the group and finishing my tasks on time, but also making sure that every member is working on the right track. Overall , we’ve worked extremely well together and our group was the one that got the highest mark in class. By Man Tu Lieu

Business Communication Presentation

Business Communication is one of my favorite course, which helps me improving not only my business writing but also helps me enhance my public speaking skills. During the course, I have done many presentations about Business Etiquette, Effective Communication and many of helpful techniques used to overcome the fear of public speaking. At the end, the result was not only getting a good mark, but I also gained a lot of knowledge in business communications.
