BYOT and 1:X BYOT
(Bring Your Own Technology) 1:X InitiativeIt is our goal that students and teachers will collaborate in rich, engaging learning experiences
using technology. Students may bring their own technology and
utilize personal electronic communication devices at school
and at school activities. Students may use these devices
in the classroom when the teacher deems them appropriate
for educational purposes.
This initiative gives our students tools to access, create and collaborate as thriving, 21st
century digital citizens and is a direct reflection of our
commitment to provide all students with a personalized
educational experience. Learn more about the Apple iPad
deployment, 1:X handbook, and parent resources at LISD’s
technology page http://tech.lisd.net/
With technology comes digital responsibility
