Dear Parents: Happy National day KUWAIT! I hope you all had a lovely break. Last week was a short, yet full of fun week! We had a great time celebrating Kuwait!

Literacy Inquiry: We are going to be practicing with the formation of letter “J”. We will decorate letter J with jewels. We will read Jack and the beanstalk and other fun books. Our new sight word is “an”.

Unit of Inquiry: Central idea: Exploring leads to discovery. In this unit we will be discussing that exploring with our 5 senses leads to discovering the world around us. This week the kids will be rotating around the 7 kg1 classes to explore different 5 senses activities.

Home Connection: You can discuss with the children the 5 senses and how they can help us explore the world. You can also review the sight words with them and point them out while reading a story!

Library day: Wednesday March 4th

Math Inquiry: This week we will be exploring deeper into the concept of measuring with non-standard units. We will measure our heights on the wall using sticky hand shapes.
